It's lovely, but, it seems it's almost defeating the purpose of a tiny home for the affordability. If there are no more lots for lease, what are you going to do with it. Buy a piece of property somewhere, which has to be cleared made ready for electricity water etc
I'm sad you stopped Installing Mitsubishi ductless units. You went from the best brand to the worst! Good luck finding parts or an HVAC contractor that will touch a Mr. Cool heat pump.
I'm awed by the roof line. The light coming in is amazing and gives so much more to the space and comfort on the eye. I am not a fan of LED lights at all, so this is so much more appealing. That said, most of the rest is so plain. Maybe when appliances are in things will change but though it is big and wide, hallway is narrow going in. Doors in bedroom ugly and out of place, didnt see the door.. going in on first video but surely the house deserves far better than this? Then, the flooring ?? Please!?!? All I could think of was the houses made in Australia and New Zealand that are staggeringly clever and works of art, with beautiful, not the lowes stock type windows.. to look out of not, just big and plunked in but open up to the outside, stylish , I'm sure Emily will design a beautiful space, bring in some beautiful style, so I'll wait to see the result but certainly you have the square feet to have the floor level ambiance get closer to the beautiful roofline. It's like two distinct homes attached to one another..
Ok what we have here is a single wide mobile home basically only these are not ugly and should be causing the mobile home industry to up their game. In fact I don't know why tiny home parks with amenities aren't cropping up everywhere. I live in a 55+ mobile home community with fabulous amenities and great neighbors and activities. I would move into a comparable tiny home community in a heart beat bc these are so much better looking.
Beautiful! With this amount of extra square footage, I would love to someday see a plan that would include a second bedroom, not loft. Same number of rooms, just bigger won’t work for me but it is beautiful! Been looking cottage with add a cottage, but love this! Maybe condense the size of bedroom and living room to accommodate a small bedroom/office at the other end for a split floor plan? I have to wait for Spring. I am so excited! Can’t wait to see what all is coming next!
@susanbeals7597 I did, thanks! It's as beautiful as I'd hoped it would be. The extra sq footage makes a huge difference, and I love that the laundry is in the bath and not the bedroom.
@@tjme - I also like that you can store a few things above the closets, between the bedroom and bathroom, if you need a little more storage space... or just have a bunch of plants up there. Room to grow your own salad fixins & herbs up there.
10 wide just needs an over width permit issued in each state the home moves through. In this case permits and escort were required. Each state has different requirements.
Iam excited to see the inside decorated and I hope for that price it doesn’t have cheap industrial lighting but glass elegant lighting fixtures 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
My husband and I came from Pa. to see the homes again.(We had been to Tiny Town 2 yrs.prior, seriously considering purchasing a Birmingham, however on the way home, my husband had a heart attack & needed a triple bypass. At that time, we weren’t sure about his health going forward. In wonderful physical shape now, we decided to come back 2 yrs. later…First let me point out how much the company has grown, & how beautiful the communities are. Congratulations to Randy, Amanda, and your entire staff! We were lucky enough to tour the Birmingham, and the Amanda, which had just arrived! With no financial consideration, we were very disappointed in the Amanda. I am saying this so that perhaps Randy could alter the house to be as beautiful as the Birmingham, only slightly larger as the dimensions are. The first deficiency we saw immediately, is the lack of storage. Most people need storage, far more than a row of extra windows across the top…(there is no loft). Less important complaints from us, is the fact that the kitchen bar extends too far into the living room, making the LR look smaller. Finally, the bathroom is so huge; why couldn’t it have been made into a bath and a half? We personally don’t care for a bathtub, especially since we , like most of your clientele are older and stepping over bathtubs is dangerous! We love the Birmingham and are definitely considering it if a lot would open up in the Forest, the Prairie, or possibly the new areas. We also thought the Charleston was nicer than the Amanda, having a first floor bedroom with storage up above… Ginger & James Olsen (P.S. we had to get rid of our mini- horses due to Jim’s heart problems…)
Can you make the Amanda with one outside door, no dormers or upper windows, no inside closing doors, and no island sink but put a regular sink in the surrounding cabinet for a much reduced price?
I LOVE It ‼️ GORGEOUS 🎉🎉 Just Like AMANDA 🥰 I Can’t Afford it But Still Think It’s a Steal at that Price ‼️‼️ Any Place Else Would Be Over $2 Hundred Thousand and Not Built as Good ‼️‼️ Y’all Are On 🔥🔥🔥🔥
It’s pretty, but I feel like one could just remodel a single wide trailer for cheaper and have land. And just because they call it Amish built doesn’t mean it’s built by the Amish. Learned that the hard way when I had work done at my house.
What video did yall watch to see a bathtub, that one didn’t show anything but the outside. Also, Amish don’t have electricity at their house, but they wired this tiny house and didn’t plumbing?
@@tracybice6984 - RUclips videos remain in the order in which they were posted. This video was posted after the tour, which is why we'd both already seen the tour before we saw your comment on this arrival video. We were just letting you know it was there. 😊
Why would you leave open air flow from a bathroom?? The steam from the shower should be vented outside to prevent mold and NO ONE wants to smell an open toilet area. 2nd egress could be between kitchen/living area, not bedroom.
I can’t wait to see this beautiful home decorated !!! So excited
The Chinese version has the end caps are lexan sound proof and just better at 70$
does it have 2 doors to comply with fire code?? because an exterior door in the bedroom looks strange
All I can say is WOW! How much!!?? omg
$160,000. Holy mackerel that’s a lot of money. More than I’ll ever have.
It's lovely, but, it seems it's almost defeating the purpose of a tiny home for the affordability.
If there are no more lots for lease, what are you going to do with it. Buy a piece of property somewhere, which has to be cleared made ready for electricity water etc
It seems expensive but when you consider most starter homes are $325 in our area, makes more sense. California starter home is how much? $650?
You can get the materials for $30,000
$160,000 ... Geez I should go into building tiny homes , hell that's clearing at least $100, 000 in profit
Just cheaper if you do it yourself.
It’s GORGEOUS! Just like it’s namesake. BEAUTIFUL!!!
Holy shit that much money for that little place
"Amanda the Beautiful" - turned out awesome!
No thanks!
Love you guys and what you do so much!!
Beautiful home
Too expensive
I'm sad you stopped Installing Mitsubishi ductless units. You went from the best brand to the worst! Good luck finding parts or an HVAC contractor that will touch a Mr. Cool heat pump.
Thought Randy said the Amish built this one, so they're using Mr Cool mini split. I have no problem with them at all, as long as it's installed right.
That is beautiful!
I'm probably the only person that doesn't like this one,. I don't like the tub, door in the bedroom or the placement of the sink. Just my opinion
Much too big for one person. Hate bathtubs unless they are walk in. Sure is beautiful and so well built. Not for me but someone's dream home.

Agree
It makes no sense, kitchen is awful, so big but no real space,oh the price is way to high😮

Good evening from Syracuse NY Randy and everyone else
That is a big one, I love it, show the
inside.❤❤😢😊🌻🤣
There's another video with a full walk through. They're going to decorate it and then do a more detailed tour in a few days.
🍀👍🍀😊very nice.
Niiiice!!! Huge! Exciting!God Bless You All❣️
On the right piece of land with Solar and Wind Turbine and the $$ to do it. Would never leave! 😀😀😍😍
Love you guys! From East Texas ❤

Now, that is a home my husband and I could actually live in. Love the kitchen cabinets and double sink.
I thought 12 foot wide couldn't be transported on the road? I thought the limit was 10 ft wide. Anyone who knows about this, please chime in.
Believe they have to have special permits to transport.

What happened to the tours of residents' homes? Haven't seen one in a long while. It's time.
$159K 😮Not for me!
No thank you!
I saw it yesterday and I feel exactly the same way
That's a pretty 'big' 'tiny' home.

I wish there was a community of tiny homes that were for ssi recipients
I can get a real house for $160k
Beautiful ❤️ but pricey $
It's not pricey, that size home anywhere else would be over 2 hundred thousand and probably closer to 3 hundred thousand

More price gougers.. buy direct save the middleman cost increase.. 💯
Now how am I supposed to live in an 8x12. Or whatever the boxes are. Hmmm
Incrediboxes are 8x16, 8x20, and 8x24, and you can add-a-box, or 2, to enlarge their living space.

Ove all the window
I'll give you forty five thousand tops
Too much $$
This is baloney. They're getting everyone ready for fifteen minute cities. Living small is not working for so many. You end up buying "storage".
Tiny😂???
Tiny houses keep getting bigger. Might as well spend mon
Money on a single wide
Randy Jones you guys are a ripoff...
Too expensive for a prefab tiny home.
