An example of a LoadSurfer pallet truck working in a warehouse environment correctly and safely. - Хобби
Those are some pretty obvious safety issues. But there are some serious less obvious issues you may want to demonstrate. Here are some examples:
Someone had left a manual pallet jack in a really heavy skid, and left it pumped up. Another guy who was unaware of this slammed the skid with a power jack, unaware that it was pumped up. This is common practice to side check a skid with a power jack. Well the skid went flying and another worker literally had to jump out of the way, and was almost squashed by the heavy skid.
In order to put a pump truck into a skid, one generally slams it into the pallet. This is fine if if you are penetrating a normal sized pallet with a normal sized jack, but if the jack is loger than the pallet, the forks will protrude out the back of the skid. I saw someone get rammed in the foot once, which put them off work for a few days, and could have broken their foot.
hahahaahahahaa best info video ever
ez
brakes: why don't manual pallet jacks typically have breaks. I know a guy who purposly stuck his foot under a pallet jack wheel to stop it in order to avoid running over a customer. He hurt his foot pretty good. Needless to say, breaks would have been a good idea.
very informative video. Lots of thanks.
