- After 5 days of travel to get to Lake Como Italy, we have finally made it! I was not expecting my trip from Portugal to Italy to take 5 days with trains, buses, taxis and Bla Bla cars, but it did so I at the beginning of this video I share with you the very long process to make it here.
After arriving via train in the morning, we go and look for transportation to get us over to the Bellagio side of Lake Como and take you with for our first pizza experience in Italy! After, we get a rental car and head over to Bellagio. The next day we share with you some of Bellagio and a meal and then take a ferry over to Menaggio.

I guess taking the train is much better than going in a car. You get to see the beautiful scenery. With a car the roads have big trees or obstructions lined up a good portion of the roads. Enjoy your trip! Yummy. Big Italian pizza. 🤣

The tomatoes in Italy taste different on the pizza, they are grown in the world renowned region of San Marzano....so the San Marzano tomatoes are not acidic, you will see in the states, you can buy them, at whole foods, and good stores, when you make your pizza at home...The buffalo mozzarella in Bellagio, is the best in the world....hope you are still there and can try it......

I am headed to Lake Como in a month and I originally planned on renting a car but there seemed to be a few setbacks I read online. Could you tell me a little bit more about the experience? Did you need to have an international drivers license and did you need to worry about ZTLs??
