I had to come back after finishing the video (was busy yesterday w/ my birthday). I don’t diffuse oils yet, I’m all about the wax. I do have a retail diffuser that we use when we’re sick. It would be fun if they had oil in some of the catalog scents. I’m glad you enjoyed Homestead Holiday and it didn’t make you sad for your last home. It’s hard moving sometimes. I cried for a year over leaving our first house, it was crazy. That was years ago. Happy belated birthday!!! 🎉 💕
Sorry, late to the game but I did vote for the last poll that’s still open! I don’t diffuse oils because I don’t want to have to buy or clean a diffuser. However, I do like to use oils in my steam mop or even my vacuum cleaner! Also, spray bottles to freshen furniture or curtains too! I don’t see any residue so it seems to work nicely. Happy belated birthday, lovely lady! 💛🥳🎁
I have diffused oils for many years now. I have several Saje diffusers I’ve been a customer for about 15+ years. They’re a Canadian company started in Vancouver. When I lived in Edmonton the founder used to come to the local stores to do aromatherapy presentations - very interesting. I turn my wax warmers off at night (except my nightstand warmer) and I diffuse overnight. I like to freshen my kitchen-dining room while I sleep especially if we’ve cooked something heavy. I prefer Saje oils because they are stronger so I can use fewer drops. I do use Scentsy oils too. I do go through them faster though. I find I have to use more product in order to smell it. Some of my favourites - Bela Flower & Beachwood (good performer), Peppermint & Vanilla (good odour cleanser), Awesome Apple, Marshmallow Buttercream & Toasted Vanilla Cranberry. I used to get the LTO seasonal 3 packs but they are so small I went through them so fast. When I first started as a consultant I earned an early sales award & got a bundle of free products. One was a Deluxe diffuser which I gave to my daughter-in-law. She likes it.
I’ve never tried Saje. Sounds good though (but no commission earned there for me lol) I’m using one from a Scentsy Holiday 3 pack release called Peppermint Everything which I love. That set also has my favourite …Holiday Shortbread. I also like many fruity oils from Scentsy, which is weird as I tend to not use wax in those scents. (Although my preferences have been gradually changing there as well)
I diffuse oils all the time and my favourite is Twinkle Twinkle in the bedroom, my second favourite is Jasmine White Tea, we have not had the 3 x packs in Region 3 which is very disappointing as I love trying all the new oil scents especially as I can diffuse them alongside the seasonal wax bars.
I diffuse, but not often. Not sure why. My favorite oils are Candied Violet & Plum, Lemon Lavender Rain, and Blackberry Plum. I prefer my deluxe diffuser over my pretty diffusers because I don't have to fill the water as often.
Thank you . I’m happy after hearing everyone on bbmb that I didn’t get them this round . Going to put like 6 in my January club that you all seem to like .
lol it’s so funny how we can’t hate a scent and then one day we love it. 😆 I love born to shine, it’s a power house in my home. 😂 Oooh pink haze that was a great bar. You said they keep giving them to you, are you getting flat bottom bars in your club?
@ probably not. I love Scentsy, but I was surprised when you said you were still getting flat bottoms. They must have amazing storage arrangements to keep the bars from sweating. 😅
I have a diffuser and a variety of oils BUT I rarely use it because, no matter what the oil, there is a certain quality to the scent. Maybe it is simply how my nose receives the scent through the mist but the result is I do not get real variety in the diffuser oils. Yes, there is a difference between each oil but it is like they all have a base note in common. I have cleaned out my diffuser but it does not make a difference.
@ I am not sure but that could be part of it. Your question prompted me to go hard on the cleaning - I poured a bit of rubbing alcohol in the center, let it sit and used a tightly rolled bit of paper towel to get in the center. I did this twice. I am now diffusing a sweet candy scent from a Valentine’s collection (I tend to diffuse woody /spice scents) I think I got it sufficiently cleaned out because I am only smelling the sweet scent now. Thanks for the original question because it caused me to try again! 💛
@@JourneyingwithLaura sometimes a run through with water that has some white vinegar added will help loosen hard water deposits. I usually do it outside since I detest the smell of vinegar
Great reviews! You got through a lot of product… you are so right about the 2 quarterbacks.. I have both in my club, but whipped frosting is my favorite, but don’t think I can let vanilla buttercream go! Yikes! Wax problems.. lol! I used to infuse oils a great deal, through another company, I loved the oils, but they were messier for me and not as enjoyable as I have found wax to be. And they stained horribly if they dripped or spilled. Thanks for the video!
I love my diffuser! I use it every night as it’s the only time I can have any scent in the house. My favorite oil is starfruit and orange zest. I think I have 6 or 7 bottles of it…lol
I do like diffusing oils but I think I don’t have enough time to have the extra steps of filling water and selecting and adding oil-I typically change out wax in the mornings so by the time I get all the humans and animals fed and or out of the house etc I feel like I can’t spare the time…the deluxe diffuser is nice to have because it lasts 1-2 days and I will say I’m thinking I diffuse when room/house is clean and I am at peace and at least somewhat content 😅 I guess that’s too rare nowadays. I’m gonna try to work on that and maybe my oil usage will go up
Great video :) For me, just wax and I hang car bars in my closets, I used to put scent circles in there but the car bars last so much longer that I switched to them, I don't diffuse oils or have anything with oils as I'm always afraid of spilling them, dexterity not as good when you reach 70 :/ Just don't trust myself and trust my husband even less!!!
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes For the ones that are in carpeted areas I use the cotton cleanups...for my kitchen, laundry and bathrooms I just take the dish out and let it cool enough to use a paper towel by pushing the edge of the wax in and scooping it out :)
Born to Shine I put in my club then took it out and immediately regretted doing that. I was trying to wittle down my club. When it showed up in clearance I immediately ordered 10 bars. After that I would add a few more to an order if it was still in clearance. I now have 21 bars. I finally used the three juicy cubes I'd been hoarding. Lol, I'm happy. 😂
Do you find that your scentsy soak has gone bad? I stocked up on a bunch and I had to throw out several bags because they looked like they were about to explode. They got really bloated. I opened one up to see and it smelled off.
That inflation is probably due to the sodium bicarbonate reacting with the fragrance oil chemicals causing a release of carbon dioxide. It makes the product less effective (no effervescent fizz). It's not dangerous to use though.

Thanks Beth
I diffuse in my bedroom at night so I like the calming scents, not fruity or bakery in the bedroom. Ocean mist and aloe is a favorite.
That makes sense for a bedtime scent!

I’m going to have to try that!
Thanks for everything
Oh that’s so funny about Frosted Vanilla- I remember your review when it came out! You definitely said something about liniment 😆
I can say I enjoyed it this final time in the kids bathroom! I’ll take that as a win
Yay!! I really like Frosted Vanilla too, I stocked up on it

It is so frustrating when the 3-packs aren't available in all regions!
Homestead Holiday , for me, reminds me of you. I always remember that you liked it.😊
I’ve only talked about it for a million years 😂

I’m getting flat Marshmallow Mint bars in my club 🙁
@ hmmm that seems strange I would think they would be sending out fresh bars. Interesting 🤔
@ maybe I could complain but I’m not sure that would help

Whipped Frosting is such a great addition to the line up. I hope it makes its way in the catalog somehow
I melt Homestead Holiday on Xmas eve and day as well. It’s perfect ☺️
I think by the sounds of it a few others do too! Great minds

Which family members struggle with scent again?
@ father in law
I had a little generic diffuser from a craft store. I liked it, but it broke. It was ok, but I found I was adding water all the time.
The deluxe has a huge reservoir so that might be a plus for people like you

That’s funny (the part about when you use oils.)
I defuse oils when we are sick., mainly Do Terra oils. Sadly I have never tried the Scentsy oils.
Oh no. That’s kind of a bad association
I was gifted a diffuser and 2 oils. I like lavender and lemon scents.
Lemon is so refreshing
