Its all fine and good when carriers act professionally. When the SHTF (in a minor way) and the carrier gives you the run around, THAT's where most people get screwed. And there's literally no way to know what carrier will act professionally and handle their part or not.
In making a deal about fixing minor damage on the spot, how does one know the amount to accept?
What about a lifted truck? I've got a 95 two door tahoe (kindof like a k5 blazer) with a 10" lift and some wide wheels/tires. Been looking at getting it from south west fort worth to South East Michigan. Th tahoe is 87" wide, 190" long, and 89" tall. Keep having brokers contact me saying it'll fit in a single car hauler. I work with them all day and I know for a fact it won't fit.
Yes, you are correct, no one is going to be able to likely haul that enclosed, and even if we did find someone it would be absurdly expensive to do.
