So pretty! And your daughter was so cute trying them on! Thanks for sharing how you sew these adorable dresses. Makes me miss my daughter being little. God bless 🌿
This was precious to watch. There is an indescribable joy in knowing your child is wearing one of your creations. I always enjoyed watching my little girl wear the outfits I made. I didn't make that many, but they held up over the years. Our granddaughter wore her mom's dresses a few times. Thank you for sharing. You are talented.
Wow so talented. Thank you for sharing. This is a great motivation for me as I too am looking into sewing dresses for my 4 girls. May God continue to bless you.
Amy you are so talented. All these little dresses are adorable and your little girl looks so beautiful in them. You made her so happy , you are a wonderful mommy. Thanks for sharing.
Very cute , easy and economical . Although there was no monetary reason at the time over 40 years ago , I had to sew for my daughter because she grew very , very little during her first 5 years of life ( she needed size 18 months at 5 years of age ) and she didn't want to wear '' baby '' clothes . So I had to get creative and as a result her clothes were always one of a kind and she loved it . Still very petite in her teenage years she wanted '' store bought clothes ' , and so I had to alter everything , It as very important to teenagers to be like their peers . Now in her adult years she rather likes being unique with her own style in fashion , I just found your site today and I love it .
They're so adorable! I live in t-shirt dresses, they are so comfy. Though, sometimes either; the neck can be a bit immodest, or sometimes can be a tad short for my liking. I want to homemake a bunch of more modest t-shirt dresses!
I just found your channel and I think it’s my new favorite channel!! I absolutely love your content, I’m just learning how to sew and this has been so helpful!!
I wish I were better at sewing...the dresses turned out beautiful. Your daughter is so cute. You could see by her smile that she loved her new dresses.
Very lovely. It reminded me when my mom use to make matching dresses for my sisters and I. Mine was always a little different though because I was the youngest. I like your outfit as well.
My mother used to make my daughter little dresses by adding material to the bottom of her tshirts. We would by one size larger tshirt than she actually wore. Then choose material, run a basting stitch so we could pull gathers, sew that on to the bottom of the tshirt and put a gem in if the bottom edge was not finished
Thank you so much Amy. I have one son who is 10. I lost my daughter in 2016 to a miscarriage and had another one 2 years later. My husband and I decided to adopt.
You are so talented, Amy! I cannot sew at all so this looked really challenging to me. You make it look easy, though :) I loved all the dresses and the cute details that you added to each one. It was so cute when Chloe hugged you at the end! My mamaw used to make us clothes when we were small. Hope you have a great weekend :)
Amy, did you take classes on sewing or did you learn from your mom. Your so proficient at sewing and all your clothes look like they came from a store! Beautiful!
