there is never anything ok when buying bootleg stuff. i dont care how much money i would save. its a insult to the 1000s of employees of the real company. imagine working hard on making a 50 million dollar movie, and then a bootleg comes out and takes away half ur sales and then you lose money because you still need to pay everyone on the set that helped this movie happen. thats how companies go out of business. it might not happen very soon, but over time it hurts big time. ask a music artist how they feel when theyre song is bootlegged, or a painters atwork getting copied. no matter what you say its completely wrong to support bootlegs

Only thing I prefer on the real SSJ2 Goku is the faces as in the details, I love the near 3.0-level sharpness and expressiveness with the lines and wrinkles by the eyebrows and under the eyes. But I will say Demoniacal Fit’s faces turned out a lot better than I thought I would love to see Demoniacal Fit make a custom Super Saiyan 2 Goku head sculpt set with the faces perfectly recreated (think back to the Demoniacal Fit Super Saiyan God Goku/Vegeta head sculpt set, for example, how perfectly they were able to replicate the faces) and molded in the better flesh tone of this figure here and most Goku figurez

Also, I've been searching for a platinum blond paint but I can't find any for the life of me. Any suggestions? I prefer to use lacquer paint but acrylic is fine is that's all thats available for these particular colors.
I can't lie though the neutral face on the demoniacal fit looks a little off, and I actually prefer the shiny hair on the SHF, it's kinda similar to the SHF SSJ3 Goku, I still think the Demoniacal Fit is better though, and it's what I'll be buying, it's just proof that SHF needs to chill with the Dragon Ball P Bandai releases, it's almost half the price of the SHF because the price skyrocketed from being P BandaI.

I got one a couple of months ago and it was not good. Arms were super squeaky and eventually the right arm wouldn't stay on when I moved it. To be honest I only got him for the faceplates and the ssj 2 hair piece for my full power Goku.

I actually managed to order the event exclusive because Goku vs Majin Vegeta is my favorite fight and I got both Kong figures to have Vegeta with the accurate battle damage. I ended up regretting it and got the DF version because the shiny hair doesn't fit with Majin Vegeta. And unfortunately Pbandai doesn't allow refunds.

df left boots are not align correctly. And if the gi is rip that long, the bottom right part of the gi should droop down. One more the chest skin color is way off. other than that the figure is ok.
If you missed out on getting the EE for base retail price then this is definitely a good place holder. I don't think either figure has good skin tones though. I bought 3 Majin Busters and they are all pale as shit compared to every other Goku in the line except super hero Goku. Can't use the hair and face plates on other bodies without the skin tones clashing. That's my only real gripe though honestly. Also wish the gi color matched the other figures as well.
DF didn’t copy the official SSJ2. They had this 3D model and in production before Bandai released theirs. But Bandai released theirs before DF finished. So DF added the aura. DF faces are basically the same as FPSSJ just better face printing where as the official has completely new faceplate sculpts. DF can 100% copy Bandai 1 to 1. But all the unique feature of the official SSJ2 figure are different on DFs. I’ve had several people online argue with me that they are 1 to 1 copies. But they didn’t own either figure. I have both and love both. Both have something slightly different to offer collectors.
Hands down, Tamashii Nations really missed the mark with this version of Goku. Everyone owns the demoniacal fit. It's a fraction of the cost and looks on par if not better than the original. Mine is coming in the mail soon. Would've loved the original if it was more accessible.
