How to use Blue Lock's ego in real life

- Goku going Super Saiyan, Luffy going gear 4, Gon snapping and Isagi's direct shot are all examples of an instant, "Monumental event" which changed their lives in dramatic, drastic ways.
But in real life, this is rarely the case.
Instead, what's needed is a consistent, long term push towards your goals. Motivation in anime is often shown as a short, intense burst, rather than a long grind as it should be.
In this video, we look at Blue Lock's Isagi, Barou and Jinpachi and what they teach us about using ego.
People always expect a lot more when they try something new and realize is not as amazing or as fast as they expected it to be, or a lot of times they just wait for a "perfect moment" where they are feeling really motivated to do that one thing, but if you always wait for this "perfect moment" then you will never change, because a lot of times when i wait for the moment i just realize that it feels really underwhelming and not as great as i expected it to be. Change takes time and it is honestly nothing amazing, you will only get better at something if you start doing it instead of waiting, and you can't ever expect too much from it, which a lot of people don't realize.
There are a lot of things i try doing every day, and it doesn't feel amazing, it doesn't feel life changing, but at some moments i can really feel slowly getting better at the things i work on and it makes me really proud of myself because of them
I think I've mentioned this in one of my video, but I'm a firm believer that just allowing yourself to start things without worrying about how good you will be at them is life changing
Thank you big bro
Pressure makes diamonds. If you don't push yourself you can't improve.
Which is why Ego calls them Diamonds in the rough
@@thunderblitzyt1873 damn that’s good
How to uild pressure
@syedumarfarooq373 I mean for me I just find people who seem better than me and challenge them
This is why I still keep anime and manga around despite having dumped every piece of entertainment from my life. The inspiration, motivation and insights truly inspire to be better in life.
This hits hard, especially since I'm in the middle of college and the fast-paced nature of everything forces me to develop better habits just so that I can do well in school. You brought up a lot of good points in this vid, keep up the good work!
Ah yeah, I remember the feeling, I let myself slip into awful habits and paid the price for it. Glad you enjoyed bro, best of luck
Watching Blue Lock changed my perspective in life. I don't have to overthink everyone is better than me, at least the anime gave me a little motivation to reach the level I wanted so badly, my endeavour has changed its path.
Just discovered this channel a few days ago and ngl I love the content and the channel's goal of explaining the lessons you could learn from anime. Keep up the good work man, I believe you're gonna make it big in the near future.
Cheers man! Yeah I love making these too, this Vinland saga one has constantly been on my mind for over a week but had to finish this off first
I'm EXTREMELY excited for my next video, even if you've not watched Vinland Saga before you'll 100% still want to watch this, can't wait to share it with you guys.
In the meantime, what's your favorite scene/character in Blue Lock? What other anime would you guys like me to do? Let me know!

Love how you challenged yourself even more after hitting that 1k sub milestone. 30k is obviously a great goal still, but its coll that you've been setting higher goals and challenging yourself! I'll be expecting to see at least a 50k sub count at the end of 2023, and I know you won't disappoint.
Only slightly intimidated by it now hahaha, but yeah we'll see, it certainly doesn't feel impossible!
Man... only three videos of blue lock and you've got me hooked!! you're awesome dude new subscriber here 🤩🤩
Great to hear man, glad you enjoyed :)
Another banger video man! I love the topic of blue lock and how you can translate messages from the anime to your life! Keep up the bangers coming, my guy!
Cheers bro! I find myself looking forward to your comments now hahaha
Really amazing video! I'll be sure to put this to use within my daily life.
Cheers bro!
And now, you're well over your 50K subs in 2024 goal; almost double it. I appreciate evidence backed advice like this. Thank you.
Thank you so much for these videos, i've watched all of them in one go, i've been having a really bad time recently and the mob psycho one, even though i've watched season 3 already, the trauma and hating the bad parts about yourself aspect is something i somehow forgot, i really needed it, so thank you, truly, i'd like you to know that your videos are actually making an impact on someone's life.
I'm glad it helped man, comments like this are the reason I made this channel, hope things get better for you 💪
thank you brother, this is what I needed,I will be sure to put this to use within my daily life

Reminds me of my OC chem lab. I was suddenly thrown into it with way less experience than everyone else stumbling over myself the first week like the biggest idiot doing mistakes no one with a brain would do. I had 4 hours of lectures 6 hours of lab and another 8 hours of protocol, pre prep for next day and working on lecture stuff. I slept 2-4 hours in the first week and pushed has hard as I could, never making a mistake twice, improving on efficency with every passing minute while in lab. I was 5 experiments behind everyone in the first week (workload of 15 hours) and made it all up by doing some insane planning and juggling of my tools which I planned out at the weekend. At the end this 4 weeks of hell I finished 4 days before someone with 3 years of experience as a lab assistant and 1 day before a genius. In the third week while I was sitting in the bus on my way home finally having a breather as I saw light at the end of the tunnel I reflected upon myself for the first time about what happened. It was then that I realized I gained smth "weird". I don't know what it is and can't even describe it. I simply called it a concept with the name "the urge to evolve". Something that can only be obtained when facing something above your skill level in a dire situation and fighting for dear life (my degree). I felt something very similiar watching Blue Lock which is probably why I love this anime so much since I can relate to it as a human but also as a aspiring athlete.
Yeah, I agree. It's generally good to challenge yourself and “become the best version of yourself”. But what does that mean, exactly? It's fascinating though because I also think there are different values and priorities that can be reviewed here.
I'm not trying to be condescending, but at the end of the day, it's all just a game. You can try to excel at all kinds of things, and whatever is popular will be something people want to be good at. But becoming “one of the best” is an inherently destructive mindset because you have to crush the competition and make other people unable to achieve their dream. Just imagine if everyone wanted to be a great football player, the talent would be great, but even some of the best would never reach their goal as *there can only be so many pros.*
And I also agree, like generally taking care of your life is obviously a good thing to do, but Blue Lock is taking this to a whole nother level. This entire mindset of “become something great, or you're worthless” is pretty extreme to the extent, that I think it may be morally questionable. For example, what about the people that have handicaps, is it their fault for not being able to play football and become a pro, although it's their dream? And even the players that dropped out of Blue Lock have value, they still can do something else and help people, probably even more than some athletes chasing a ball. Remember, there have to be losers for there to be winners.
Just imagine this drive and motivation of those football freaks would carry over, and think how we could fix the world if everyone had the same enthusiasm. Imagine a manga like this about feeding third-world countries. I know it won't happen though because a game is more fun to watch I guess.
Anyway, I personally sometimes think Blue Lock is way too serious, like some dialogues are edgy af and so over the top. But this may also be why there will never be a “Blue Lock” in real-life since it would just be ridiculous. In the unlikely case, I'm wrong, I would love to see how a real-life version of this kind of experiment would turn out, though.
Somehow missed this comment, and yeah the topic of what counts as the "best version of yourself" can get pretty deep, I think it's up to us to decide what we want that to be.
And of course, as you say, only so many people can succeed, which is why as mentioned in one of my other videos I think we should learn to realise that we don't need to be the best at something to enjoy the benefits of improvement.
And yeah Anime is always a bit over the top haha, it'd be boring if it it wasn't imo
Another amazing video. Congrats :)
Cheers bro, always love comments like this hahaha
Very good content. I would like more if you could make videos 8-13 min long. Its a very good content and it feels like it ends to quickly. Keep it up
You're gonna love my next video bro haha, and cheers 💪
wow great video! i hope you get more attention!

Yeah i'm still very new to it all so slowly picking up editing techniques over time, and I do plan to fully redo my thumbnails at some point
Amazing video, I'd love to see an analysis on timeskip Eren if possible

keep it going mate!:)
Will do :)
I regret I have but one like to give.
I usually never write comments but I really like your content. Great job and please keep it up! However I also have some critisicm. I find you very hard to understand sometimes, you should work on speaking much clearer because here you mumble quite a bit. This doesnt mean that I dont like your voice or your range in tonality, its really just a mumbling issue. Please keep it up, looking forward to more videos! ❤️

Cheers bro!
Awesome video, but uhmm... Why do you flip most of the videos? Like most of the scenes are mirrored and technically it doesn't make a lot of difference, but it's a bit weird, i am just curious of why

Love the video but it seems like your audio would spike and drop at time just an idea at improvement for the next video
Ahhh whereabouts? I can't seem to hear it but my ears might be tricking me
Great video, and interesting take on ego.
Also I'm not hating but I've noticed that you tend to start a lot of sentences by slurring about 5-6 words together and it makes it hard to pick up on the point you're making. For the most part I could understand based on context, but I found myself needing to hyper focus on the video or turn on the subtitles even as a native English speaker. I know it could be a way of speaking but I figured it would be helpful to know in the future.
Other than that, really good video and looking forward to more lessons to take from anime :)
Yeah I know, I've been trying to work on it since this video but defo still needs more work haha. I think I just talk way too quickly
@@LessonsFromAnime I understand that haha I do the same in real life and I also been working on it. Good on you to recognize as well 👍
