There is a lot more points in the paint scored this season by a large margin comparing to 2002. I recommend watching the games rather than reading about it and hating without fact checking. In 2001-2002 12 players scored at least 10 points in the paint per game, this season it's 29 players.
Yea a time when ppl complained that the lg was all dunking & athletics & not pure basketball lol ppl just complain no matter what & the rest will follow
Man it's another one of those afternoons, this is great content, seeing that KG And 1 commercial took me straight back to being in Highschool and playing NBA 2K1 on Dreamcast
Yup but if he says something negative bout bron you're all in lmao that's who Chuck always been ! He been saying the lg is trash from the minute he retired 🤣that's why you just watch & laugh & not take these ppl words to heart
That wasn't hard to do back then lol we all knew who would win..that's like saying the cavs & warriors would be in the finals in 2017 & warriors would win
4:56 Oh, trust me, Charles. I think Ernie will get more Emmy nods in the future. And he won't be the only one on that panel to get nominated, either...
Yup but you sheep today talk bout current players not realizing they said the same bout the greats before lol but you'll like every post with ogs saying the game is trash today lol Chuck BEEN saying that even about the guys like kg & Kobe & shaq era who call the lg trash lol it's all nonsense
@ you not schooling me to nothing, I just thought is was funny that he said that, he criticized players hard and it challenged them to be better unlike now where they run to Instagram and podcast and cry about it..when he criticized Kobe on the game 7 in 06 Kobe came up there and talked about it not cry on a interview or podcast, these new mfs just grew up different
@@sluglow6357he didn't at that time. He didn't say the league was trash and again all you guys who defend today's game can never explain why ratings are waaaaaaay down lol pirating ain't it either. That's your guys go to😂😂😂
Barkley was on point with his playoff predictions in saying that the Nets are going to win the East which they did and Pacers are going to make into the playoffs.
Now oldheads as you can see charles barkley has always said dumb shit he said the lakers teams in the early 2000s couldn't beat some those teams in the 80s lakers celtics teams and he said kobe didn't have that killer instinct 😂😂😂 boy i tell you
The rosters of those great 80's teams all have at least 3-5 HOF players on each team. Lakers- Kareem, Magic, Worthy, McAdoo, Cooper, Wilkes Celtics- Bird, McHale, Parish, DJ, Archibald, Walton 76ers- Erving, Moses, Cheeks, Jones, Toney if he would have stayed healthy Pistons- Isiah, Dumars, Rodman, plus Laimbeer, Aguirre and Dantley among others
Ok, so I lived in SoCal, and I watched every single Lakers game back then, and Chuck isn’t completely wrong about the “killer instinct” thing. It’s a little complex, but it essentially boils down to the fact that the Lakers were notorious for taking their foot off the gas. For example, they started this season with a 16-1 start, and many people were saying the were gonna beat the Bulls 72 win record, but by the end of the regular season, they didn’t even have homecourt advantage in the West. They always talked about having a “Switch” when they turned it on when they needed to. The Lakers had the talent and skill to go 72-10 or 73-9, but they never did, because they always became too relaxed and content during the regular season, and THAT is what Chuck was talking about. They always had that killer instinct in the postseason, but in the regular season, they were the opposite, and this was a commonly known thing during that era.
Initially, I’m like wow this is a big rip off of Allison chains in the beginning. And then I realize it’s Godsmack literally named their band after a song of their.
I normally hate vids with commercials but these commercials actually add to the memories of watching these games & ITNBA episodes..good stuff
Unlocks alot of memories
The opening video was nothing but dunks, blocks, and cutting to the basket....what a time

@Max-kw2hp there are points in the paint because the rim protectors of the past are gone. Also I do watch the games. Ratings are down for a reason.

Those Nets were like the 90s Bills that kept losing in the super bowl
