Love, Pam & Steph
Caroling. Years ago, circa 1972, our Youth Group did find it safe enough in our tiny Midwestern town to go caroling. It was so fun and we thought we were all amazing vocalists. Our leader would provide the title song as we arrived at the house. Que little Grandma opening door, we hear our instruction "Joy to the World" and from the back row Really Loudly "Jeremiah was a Bullfrog" Grandma didn't get it but we cracked up😂😂😂 Such a great memory lo these many years later.
Joy to your World Pam and Steph!
Pam and Steph, you both are a joy to watch and listen to...love your videos! Merry Christmas! 🎄⛄
I immediately started singing the instrumental part when Stephanie sang Sugar, Sugar! Love it when someone’s brain works like mine and immediately links song lyrics to things in life. Also Steph, you are right on both counts. Sugar, Sugar comes first followed by Honey, Honey! Loved all of the stitching ladies. It’s all so beautiful. Lastly, while I’m not as dedicated of a Wicked fan as you two are, I also find myself randomly singing the songs throughout my day!
I spent a stitching afternoon watching your videos. Thanks for all you two do for the stitching community.
Such fun, thank you!!! I totally agree with you that Christmas cards are such a joy to send and receive. Thanks as always and happy stitching! (hope you get to see Wicked again!)
I'm always relieved when you feature flosstubers that I'm already watching, since your recommendations never steer me in a wrong direction. Your 70s Kitchen is so much fun to watch - it definitely brings back memories, especially when you mentioned the mushrooms. My aunt LOVED mushrooms and I remember looking for gifts for her when I was small with a mushroom theme. I can't believe that it's time to make new WIPGO boards already.. this was my first year doing it and I really like the progress I was able to make. 🪡👠
Enjoyed seeing all your beautiful stitching.
"Pam, don't put it away!" Looking forward to the finish.
So many giggles today! I love seeing all the Christmas cards you receive! Happy birthday month, Steph! 🫎
I would love to open my door and hear you singing something from Wicked! I would probably get the X! Could still be fun🤗🤗
Love seeing you both. Happy celebrating 🎈🎈🎈
Oh ladies. You do not need to get down on your bellies to turn on your tree lights. There is an amazing extension cord that plugs into the wall, then your tree lights plug into it - and the other end of the cord is a push button that will turn on (and off) the lights. We pack ours away with our tree every year! You will be amazed how easy it is to use!
Pam and Steph, thank you so much for the wonderful shout out . I was blown away to ear you called me out. So appreciated. ❤❤❤ happy holidays season.
@@nerissasstitchinglifestyle Our pleasure! 💕
So enjoy hearing your quips and laughter, thank you for another enjoyable time.
Such a fun video!!!! I am seeing Wicked tomorrow, cant wait,
You gals make me laugh so hard!! Thank you!! My youngest daughter's 31st birthday is December 18th as well. Happy birthday in advance Steph!!!
I really enjoy watching you both each week! The "Cuz math" section always makes me chuckle! Stephanie, I am issuing a friendly challenge to include some multiplication in your computation . For example: (15 x 20) + (8 x 8) = 364. "Cuz math is more than addition!"
Beautiful stitching as always! As for New Year’s Eve activity ideas, I know you ladies have gone through the under-the-bed box on Instagram live. I don’t have instagram, so I haven’t ever been able to see those. So a video like that, or one where you go through your WIPs, could be fun for the RUclips side of things. It doesn’t really matter what the activity is, as long as you are having fun, we will, too. 😊
Hi Pam and Steph I love your WIP's. You two are a hoot and make me laugh a lot. When you told me about Rhea from Blue coast stitcher from Ontario Canada I too was born in Hamilton Ontario Canada and will be checking out and watching her floss tube. I always enjoy the silver and gold floss tuber and enjoyed and have on my list already. I will be starting 25 new starts along with some smalls for gifts for 2025. I will be going to my LNS Stitchery X-Press only 5 minutes from my home and Shepards bush 21 minutes from my home and will be looking at material and patterns. Wishing you Steph a Happy Birthday this month. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless
Pat
I saw wicked on Thanksgiving. Loved it.
Loved your episode as always and thank you for the silver / gold floss tubers! I went and watched Nerissa - WOW!!! So good and so much to see! Ria will be after your video! And I have had the 70's kitchen pattern and yours motivated me to get it out and start, I have so many fond memories of my mom's 70's kitchen. We got a fondue pot for a wedding gift in 1982 and we still have it lol! 😂Happy Stitching!!
Wicked caroling sounds amazing! I would sing along with any Wicked carolers (not to be confused with wicked carolers) that appear at my door. Enjoyed your video, as always. Something I look forward to watching after a Monday at work
Oh Em Gee Steph!!! I’ve never heard anyone else say the phrase, “colder than a witch’s $$$”, in the 35+ years since I first heard my attorney/boss say it to me on the daily. I was a young, naive “Girl Friday” working my first full-time job out of high school in upstate NY and his greeting every morning to me was that phrase. He is no longer with us but I wish that I had kept a journal of his phrases from our conversations….they were priceless.
Then, Pam’s 70’s kitchen project and the discussions surrounding the motifs just crack me up. 😂😂😂 All those things were in my home growing up. The orange, yellow and green household items, along with….fondue parties…..Tupperware ….. Avon …. rabbit ear tv antennas…. rotary dial phones, with party lines …. Wood paneling, scalloped carpeting …. I can relate Pam.
And then, as soon as I thought you were winding down, Steph mimicked Macaroni’s fangs hanging out … that face! 😅
And then, just once more, I had to stop and put my boots on …. IYKYK … it was getting deep 😂😂😂 … as Steph read Steph’s quote on her parrot design.
Keep up the fun! Every video has me laughing out loud …. Even at 11:11 pm when everyone else is sound asleep.
I'll second the remote control plugs! I bought some at Aldi last year- game changer. I can turn on 4 different areas at once or turn them on/off individually. No crawling around on the floor to turn things on and off- because to be honest some days I wouldn't be able to get back up lol. I've seen them at several stores especially at this time of year. Thanks for another fun video you guys brighten my week!
Hi both, so pleased to hear you had a fantastic Thanksgiving. Loved hearing about your Wicked adventures xxx
Glad you are keeping the Christmas card tradition going. Always fun to listen to you both and really like the occasional cameo appearances by Mac and Milkshake. Merry Christmas to you and yours.🪡🪡
Another great video; if no one else has suggested.... Invest in a plug in timer for your tree, its a game changer for people of a certain age..you know what I mean😋 We have one on the tree and on the outside lights; they come on at dusk & turn off at bed time. See you next time
Your videos are my absolute favorite. Your mother daughter humor is infectious. Thanks for a fun ride every Sunday.🤗
Thanks for hearting my comment! Y’all are a treasure.
The most wonderful time of the year finally arrived!!!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday Month Steph. 🥰🥰💗💗Happy Holiday Wishes from our home to yours😻😻
Very interesting video. Very interesting indeed.
Happy Birthday month Steph! WOOT WOOT
The first few minutes were too funny! I have to work NYE, so I'm going to do a new start, I think. Hope to see you both at Jingle Ball.
They have extension cords with a button on the end to turn your tree off/on
You’d have to get down on your belly to plug it in initially, but after that, you just step on the button and you’re set.
Hope this helps. Prelit trees may be different.
Stay off your tummies, and go to Hobby lobby and get the Westinghouse wireless remote system, this is for your tree or whatever needs to plug in and be able to turn and off. I love mine I have them all over the house.
Love you both!!!❤❤
Happy December! Great video and an awesome time of laughter and joy! Exquisite stitching!
I woke up yesterday to a rumor that Pam and Steph, the Flosstube Queens, had a shout out for me. At first it was. “WHAT?!?!” “ME?!?!” So I sat down yesterday after supper, just to hear what you had to say about me. Thank you. Thank you. I am honoured that you gave my little Flosstube channel some love ❤️ I have enjoyed your channel since I stumbled upon it I think 5 years ago?!? I lose track of time everyday , and counting back years is impossible. Unless it’s our wedding anniversary. Lol. Again. Thank you for the shout out. And thank you for bringing laughter and joy and stitches to our world every week.
@@BlueCoastStitcher Our sincere pleasure 😊😊
All the Wicked talk inspired me to show the Wizard of Oz to my 8 year old daughter who doesn’t really watch movies. She watched almost the whole thing and wanted to watch it again the next day!
I tried & failed to contain my laughter after waking up my husband. I just love you both pieces! 🎉❤
I'm totally in for Wicked caroling!! The whole soundtrack is stuck on repeat in my head 24/7. I have proudly turned my 7 year old daughter into a Wicked fan and she's always walking around belting Defying Gravity lol!!!
I just got back into stitching after taking a break to care for my dad and moving! Love the videos. This will be my first year attending the Jingle Ball and I'm so excited!!
You ladies are so funny! I'm originally from the south and when we are "viewing" something--it's a corpse at the funeral home. We go to the "viewing" of the body. I will never be able to hear viewing again without thinking of Wicked! ROFL
Lots of laughter and great stitching projects this week! Steph, the PS Alphabet is so cute, and looking amazing! I am so glad that you had a nice and low key Thanksgiving! Pam, please don’t get down on the floor on your belly! I hope that you find a better way of lighting the tree! Looking forward to seeing you at the Jingle Ball!
You guys just brighten my day. Thank you.❤❤❤😊😂
Thanks so much for the video! You two are an inspiration and are enabling me too much! I am signed up for the jingle ball and will go to the Shepherds Needle in Little Rock for the day on Saturday. I have a list of things to look at thanks to you! Have a great week!
Stitch con twice….thats how you know me! Not local…but travel to Ohio frequently and stop to shop! Thanks so much.
@@jenniferblubaugh 👋👋
Love all the Wicked talk :). Congratulotions haha. Great update!
"Pumba... my spirit animal" 😂😂😂❤
So imagine my shock when I heard repeated kitty sneezing while I listened on AirPods to your Tube last night! I was looking at both our cats and they were sound asleep!! I thought maybe my husband had surprised me with a new kitty baby! Mr. Mac is a delicate sneezer! Love you guys ❤
It was Milkshake sneezing 👍
My in-laws got us tickets to see Wicked on Thanksgiving and sadly we woke up Thanksgiving morning and realized they accidently bought tickets for the week before and we all missed it. 😢 I guess we'll go when my oldest is back from college next week. I love the idea of caroling with Wicked songs. My girls would also like to add Hamilton songs to the mix. 😂 Luckily in our area of Utah caroling is still a thing and the youth at our church usually go together. It's extra fun when the band kids bring their instruments, like the tuba.
Oh my fellow Sagittarius- my birthday is the 19th of December! Let’s celebrate ALL month long! ❤️🎄❤️
So is mine!! Happy birthday 😊
Great video as always, ladies.
Saw Wicked yesterday and it was awesome. I will see it again with most of my family in a couple weeks. I noted something that I think was out of order in the chronology of things. Won’t say what it is. Just wanted to put my observation in writing.
The Golden Rings are on a Ring Necked Pheasant. Did you catch that? Love you girls!
I to have just started the nautical sampler. I loving it. I also started the first day Christmas by Liz matthews . Great to watch you both again. You keep me laughing.
I don't know why but I got the giggles when you both said "same, same".... I rarely hear that outside of my family. Long ago, I asked the waiter at a Chinese restaurant the difference between the garlic chicken and the broccoli chicken and he said "same, same, more broccoli". Forever more, our family either says same, same OR more broccoli to convey those sentiments... two things are actually different, yet are "same, same". Thanks for a good laugh. xoxo
LOVE your chit chatting’ and the laughs that go with it. Thank you for the great round up to the Thanksgiving weekend. Just was I needed. Have a great week. ❤
Thanks for another fun video.
Hi friends! I watched your video today on my lunch hour, and your back and forth made my day :) Beautiful stitching as always, and what good haul! That Sew Much 2 Love project bag is a perfect choice for November 🍂 I'm glad you had a good Thanksgiving and that you got to see Wicked again! I've still yet to go, but hoping maybe next week 🙈 Be well, and happy stitching 💜
Fun video 😁
Another Sunday night video with my 2 favorite ladies … oh how I enjoy the fun and laughter … love y’all’s projects, hauls, etc … I am joining in on Jingle Ball for the 1st time this coming Friday … I hope I am finished with my stitch by then … until next time Happy Stitching 🧵 … 😊❤ Dena
I saw Wicked in 3D, it was amazing.
Really? An Isle of Men? Tickets there would be the ULTIMATE give away! I am definitely in. I meant not be Able to touch but I could sure LOOK!!😂 Keep on singing you two!
I was laughing about your reference of "yes, we have no banannas" on your video. Picture this: hubby and I had a backyard wedding in 2003. My uncle was the officiant. Now my family has many loose screws, and our ducks are never in a row. Hubby's family is a little stern. So my uncle announces it is time for the opening hymn. That's right.... "yes, we have no banannas..." my family sings right along..... his not so much. It was a wonderful day!
Steph, your signing is wonderful. It could be a side job for you. Laughing my way through another wonderful video.
I’m dying you two 😂 “Not a clue in the world!” I’d get blocked if I posted the next quote. Pam heard it 😂
😊❤🤩🌹🌹🌹love your videos
@7:04 Let's just say the pause in the word "crispiness" made me clutch my pearls.😂. I was like .. wait ... did I hear what I thought I heard? Naw, couldn't be ... lol
Thank you!
I'm doing 12x12 but with a twist... I designated a color for each of the hours and doing 144 stitches on any wip (or if I want new start) in that color in that hour.
What a cool concept!
The gold rings on the Satsuma Street pattern are on a Ring-necked Pheasant.
😊👍
to be fair, i don't think the expression explained it. also, i would never have stitched the Christmas alphabet Steph is working on but MY LANDS the colors are gorgeous! So now, i will probably stitch that alphabet :) Love y'all!!
Oh well 🥴
Jellllooooo ladies
Happy December, Pam and Steph! It's time to get ready for the Jingle Ball...👠💃🎺🎤🎶👑⛄🍹🤶🎄🔔 ♥ Have a good time, and don't burn your card to a crisp, Pam!
(Although, who am I kidding; I quite sure my credit card will be smoking...to he!! with the budget...)
A Few sporadic New Years Eve LIVES throughout the day/night would be fun. Maybe have those who join in share what they are stitching, or eating, drinking, wearing, if they will stay up all night ...
Another great episode. Steph. I bought the ABC Christmas stitch. I had to get it because of you!!!How may I find your floss conversion? Thank you for your help. ❤
Happy Birthday sooooon!

@ thank you so much. 🥰👍❤️
Now I have to see Wicked.
Ever since you mentioned that 12x12 would be counter to your goals for 2025, I’ve been thinking of the song “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?” Because you ladies have been my New Year’s Eve “date” for the past few years. However will I fill the void? ❤😂

Hello Steph and Pam ❤
Enjoy your "Wacky Flosstube "....I usually watch each episode more than once 😊
Have enjoyed your reviews of the WIZZARD OF OZ.
My grand daughter, Megan, enjoyed it sooooo much🎉🎉
She dressed up as Glenda.
Keep up your delightful Flosstube episodes! Love you both ❤🎉🎉❤
Now look. I'm gonna need a little longer from you two. An hour and a half works great with my schedule.
Pam whrn talking about the pumpkin, you said that you xyx'd it. What does that mean?
We got snow in western NC last night, but a lot of it already melted. 17° right now! 🥶
That means, since it's overdyed thread, I'm stitching each x completely before the next one, to take full advantage of the various shades of the floss. Does that make sense?
@JustKeepStitchin totally. I usually stitch a row of half x's across, then stitch back across, instead of doing individual x's. I want a more subtle variegation. Am I doing it correctly for that effect, or should I be doing individual x's?
@@PriviesandPrimsNeedlecrafts whatever gives you the look you want...you do you 😊
Watching your flosstube and burst out laughing. Colder than a witch’s tit! My Dad passes away in 2013. This was one of his crazy saying. So you made me laugh and made me have fond memories of my Dad. He was a hoot. Thank you!
What is the name of the pattern (and designer) of the "houses" cross stitch on the wall behind you?
Christmas Village (#79) by Prairie Schooler.
My poor, long-suffering husband wandered into the living room just as I belted out, "YES! WE HAVE NO BANANAS! WE HAVE NO BANANAS TODAAAAY!" and he just walked right back out again without saying anything. 😆🤣😂 (Maybe he's going to the grocery store?) 🍌

my birthday in 12/31

Andrew says he’s watched it 4 times and plans on going again 😅
Yes, he told us!😊😊👍
Pam and Steph, I have been wondering this for some time, and I should have asked long ago, but you guys keeps distracting me from my thoughts - Anyway, How is it that you know the twins of Twin Peaks Primitives? What is the relationship? Are you relatives? Old Friends? Stitching friends from retreats? OR? I am so curious, even if everyone else knows, I don't. Could you assuage my curiosity? Please?
Steph - Happy Birthday!! girl. I too am a Sag. Have a good one.
Good Video. So much fun!!!
The Twins reached out to us as FlossTubers, and we have been helping them promote their designs for several years.
🪡👍🏽
Ladies….you have to be careful being that funny. I almost peed my pants when you were talking about Christmas caroling and Steph broke out with “GOOD NEWS! SHE’S DEAD!” I could get behind that kind of caroling! Thanks; now I have the songs stuck in my head! 🎶Don’t make me laugh! They were-popular. RIGHT! 😂
Hey ladies and happy December! Another lovely video. You two just make my evening every Sunday. Wanted to let you know that Teresa Kogut has released a book of nautical pictures. If memory serves without me finding mine it has 3-4 different ones in it. It might even have 5. I loved it and had to get it. I am apologize I can't remember the name of it but I wanted to let you know she had designed some nautical themed pictures. Happy Stitching and have a blessed week. 😊🪡🧵
Yes, containing all 3 designs we got at Stitch West 2022.
