It was almost like a family-friends discussing twist &turns of the each episode. Tears rolling down while I say goodbye bye to PP. Am gonna miss Steven terribly one character which carved a good impression throughout the series. The innocence of Norm & Rita, Ada's stunning personality, daily conversation between Allison & Matt, The Martin Peyton & his loving Hannah... Charlie serving cider, Ms. Choet's rabbit ears (😂) as she always listen to others conversation 😬😬😬😬 always will be missed. Adiós!
Almost there! I am going to miss PP. It remains the only American soap I have ever watched from start to finish. When I lived in Los Angeles in the 90's I was struck by how God-awful the afternoon soaps were. As the stomach turns, etc. But on the whole PP, has been in a different class. I will miss it. And I will miss bingeing on it ☺️ And whatever happened to the drugstore? That should have been the ideal place to discuss events and gossip about the inhabitants. Same goes for the womens clothes store.
speaking of ATWT, i believe it was the success of PP that prompted P&G to come up with a primetime spinoff of ATWT: 'Our Private World' - which, aired in 1965 twice weekly as did PP, lasted about 5m..not the success PP was....

The Cider Barrel and Charlie have actually been around for a few seasons. Sandy Webber was an employee. It's where Connie got an ice cream sundae while she was pregnant. Back then it was more of a quaint place that served hot cider with (or without) cinnamon sticks. Much like the Shoreline, it's become 'groovier' in the final season (evidence: organic goop). Anyway, PP and Dark Shadows are the only soaps I watch, and I'm grateful for all the episodes available (free of charge!) to watch online.
Extraordinary ,I never watched much of PP originally but having stumbled on it on RUclips recently I decided to give it a try.I have been hooked from start to finish,and have today made it to episode 513 and cannot imagine a tidy ending at all,but for me the series disintegrated since Martin Peyton left for the nursing home. I have had a crush on Stephen from the start😍
Wow, Lou can be Doc Rossi's cellmate! He can even have the top bunk, and the good doctor can give him pointers about medical school while they're in the clinker!
I noticed that, too. One scene Betty come over Steven place, she ask him to pour her brandy, and he do, they say a few words, and then she leaves, brandy untouched. I would've been a little pissed if you asked me to pour you something and then not drink it. At least pretend to sip, if on films.
I feel sorry for Harry Miles. He had such high hopes for Lew. I thought Lew should be the one to say sorry for the mess. Instead he tries to deflect it to Harry as the one who has no time to listen to Lew
Kind of ridiculous that lou’s dad paid all that money for an investigation then threw the report in the 🔥 fire. And why wouldn’t his wife tell him? She comes to Harry for every little thing, any other time. The absurdity is frustrating
Why does Dr. Rossi, and his lady seem to really be in love. But I think he was the same way with his other lady, who died. I guess he's a real romantic guy. I like that.
I think he did really care for Barbara Rush, he put 4 photos of her in his biography, even had his arm around her very cozily instead of his wife in one of them. He said Barbara gave him a piece of jewlery upon completion of the series, a hand holding a heart with a chain attached to the heart, don't know what that meant but it seems there was feelings between them. I don't really like her that much, she seems too old for him. She divorced her real-life husband during this time.
