When I first played jumin’s route, I was hella freaked out. I thought he had some type of animal fetish and was gonna make me his new cat, but the more I played his route, the more I realized that he’s just possessive lol. And ngl that’s kinda hot low key
I don't understand why people get angry about it. Isn't Rika like the most important person in almost everyone's life in this organization? Rika was the one who inspired and completely changed Yoosung. Obviously he would mention her a lot. She's not just a random cousin for him. He thinks that telling MC she reminds him of her is a compliment. It is not nice, but it is logical. Same goes for Jumin. He probably was in love with her before. She's the only innocent and nice woman in his life. Obviously he would talk about her a lot as well.

Honestly the Jumin route really surprised me, to think such a stubborn and stuck up man like this would be this kind and gentle towards MC- goes to show you how an accidental encounter can really change a person. I definitely felt bad for him when he went on about the past, poor guy. 🥺😭
I don't find Jumin that especially attractive to me, though I find him painfully relatable in some aspects. Loneliness to that degree tends to make you extremely possessive to the people you even do have around, that you never want to let anything go and you go to ridiculous extents to keep it. Though, my possessiveness manifests in different ways and it's mostly due to how much I've been abandoned in some ways throughout my life. 😅

This is why I prefer his second bad ending that unlock his DLC because you actually discover why Jumin was showing red flags during his main story: his mother did locked him in a basement alone to force him to play with toys because normal kids play with toys. Also, she never loved him because he was too perfect and normal kids aren't perfect yet she was proud him. She's the one who turned Jumin twisted and mute about his feelings. Thank god his father wasn't a jerk. He never mentions Rika in that ending and dlc because he had time to fully express his none gentle man side since then and he is more open to talk about his real wounds: he never wanted to be the perfect heir just to be loved for who is.❤
Don't support his possessive behavior but don't push him away. Also encourage him to be himself while comforting him about Elizabeth the 3rd. He will continue to be a bit possessive since that is just his nature, but soon, with V you will be let out without the good ending.
