😂 mine too... but I go to Sam's Club if not on sale. The Warehouse stores as well as restaurant supply stores usually have great prices on a regular. If you're going to buy in bulk
@@201400ify Yup! My sister’s family and I visit restaurant depot and buy a huge box of snow crabs for about $100 and feeds the entire family for our cookouts. Way cheaper than going to the supermarket
Jay. Sir!!! Of ALL the "fast, easy seafood boil" videos I have watched and followed the recipe to....THIS ONE IS IT! No lie. The ingredients list is short and and your idea for pre-making everything with short cook/boil times is genius. I'm familiar with the bag method but because I boiled the corn and potatoes together, sauteed the sausage and made the sauce all at the same time... everything was ready to go in the oven about 20min. Add in the 20min oven and well....lemme just tell you - I started at 6pm and we was sitting down to eat before 7pm. Jo seafood boil ever was that quick. THANK YOU for this. I sure did sub because I'm looking forward to other dishes I can prepare and serve quickly. God bless you!
Next time, try crock pot bags (liners from Reynolds Wrap). They untie and retie with no problem, and you get 5 bags in one box. No bag burst, no slits necessary. That's what I use. Hope this helps😊
Thank you so much for sharing your recipe! It allowed me the opportunity to be a great hostess on Friday night. Took about an hour to do the crab boil. No one could believe that I have never done a crab boil before!! I shared your youtube vid with my guests. They were amazed that mine looked just like yours. I was easy and cleaning was minimal. You have a wonderful gift!!! Thank you!!
Thank you so much for sharing this easy recipe. I am going to give this a try this week! It always looked like it would be a complicated dish to make, but now that I've watched your method of making it, I feel confident that I can do it! Again, thank you, thank you, thank you
LOOKS DELICIOUSLY 😋 Check out the Reynold's oven bag directions. I use a TBS of flour and shake around the bag before I put the food in the bag. Then you put about four to five TINY slits with a sharp knife in the top of your bag, and it won't explode/burst.
I just want to thank 🙂you for making such detail videos in such a short length of time cuz a lot of times don't nobody be having time to be watching a 30-minute video simple recipe 🤦🏾♀️🤭 I've tried several of your recipes my all-time favorite go-to recipe is the one I think 🤔 you did about two or three years ago it's the lemon pepper wings recipe I forwarded recipe to some of my friends and family that's my go-to recipe 🤭 thank you so much for such amazing content may your channel continue to prosper 🙏🏾🤗
So i made this for Christmas party at work, I added lemon juice and white wine. OMG🔥 people were quiet, guys i added sweet potatoes aka batata and everyone went nuts thank you for this recipe
i’ve gotten crab all over north carolina at restaurants, food trucks, etc, none of them taste like this recipe. you can actually taste the seasoning in the crab when you crack it open. best recipe i’ve ever used
We just made this yesterday for Christmas. Talk about lip smacking, finger licking good! Was so glad it was immediate family, so we were able to really get down. Getting ready for round two today! THANKS!
Made this for my wife for mother's day, I added shallots and little ginger when the garlic went in and also some sugar.... knocked it out the park my man, she said it was 20/10 I gotta agree 👍
Now see that's exactly what I was just talking about I was just watching this guy eat seafood boil bag at boil Daddy and when he cracked his crab leg a lot of water came out of it I don't want my crab legs where I crack them I'm getting a lot of hot water coming out of them and now I see the way this gentleman has prepared gumball bag in the oven big difference it's not watery the juice looks good the crab legs do not look watery this is what I'm talking about I guarantee you when he cracked one of those bad babies open he's going to get nothing but juice and flavor seasoning and not a whole lot of hot water dripping out of his crab legs or his corn on the cob that's the type of seafood boil that I want look like I'll be making my own I wish that he put up his full recipe
The only thing I’d change personally is onions to an onion powder. I’m just not a huge fan of chunks of onion in a boil. But this looks amazing, definitely giving it a try
Looks really great, really want to to make this. I think the bad might have exploded due to the extra air in the bag, so you have to release as much air before tying the bag.
My guy, i went on a hunt for the best seafood boil recipe, and by far, yours is the best, I know this and I haven't even tried it yet🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏 thank you for the delicious recipe, can't wait to try it!
Best video so far. 🎉🎉🎉 I will be making my first crab boil at home today Or tomorrow and I needed some tips and instructions. This by far is the best i've seen. I was definitely wondering how I was going to be able to do a bag because i've never seen a seafood boil without one in a restaurant. Mystery solved and I will be buying some more bags today. This will definitely keep everything nice and clean and neat as well as portion and content control for my guests. I hate a messy kitchen after I cook. I will also be buying a few lasagna or casserole pans as i've learned in the past from friends. You use them instead of plates. And of course they are disposable if necessary.
My mom LOVES Dungeness crab but it’s something about the sweet butteriness of snow crab that has me in a chokehold. Now if we’re feeling fancy and got a little extra funds we’ll go big with king crab
How to make seafood broil that tastes good and not like spicy OJ: Cook 13 ounces of Cajun sausage in a pot (Remove sausage but leave grease) Add one diced large onion (cook till translucent) Add 2 tbs of minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about a minute) Add 2 sticks of UNSALTED butter, one cup of chicken broth, 3 tbs of hot sauce, and stir until butter is melted. Add the following spices: 2tbsp of ole bay 1tbsp of paprika 1tbsp of Italian seasoning 1tbsp of black pepper 1tbsp of lemon pepper Bring it to a low boil. This is enough for 1 serving (about 3 clusters and a pound of shrimp) Simply adjust the measurements based on how many servings you want. Also add whatever other things you want.
This looks delicious 😋 I love the video 😍😍😍😍 I’ve learned over time to use the oven bags only for appearance purposes when it comes to seafood. I don’t like how it burns or scorches my seafood I pay too much money shoot! So I decided to cook mines like you did on the stove top and use the bag only to coat it in the sauce.
Looks so delicious !!😋😋🔥🔥 my favorite are Dungeness Crabs. I’ve always loved snow and king crabs, but when I tried Dungeness for the first time last year, they have been my favorite every since! Might try the blue crabs next.
If the crab is already cooked does it matter if you leave the meat in the shells or not? I was considering taking the crab meat out the shells pre-bagging to eliminate all that work later.
When putting anything in a bag and putting it in the oven you need to if you’re gonna tie it up you need to slit it a couple times. Don’t top to let out the air out or they will burst on you. Thought I’d let you know, bro. Have a good day will talk to you again later God bless
Im new to DIY seafood. My local grocery store only has precooked/preboiled crab (as far as I know). Yes I know its probably a seafood sin, but if there is a difference let me know! Off to go try this now! Thanks!
This is my go to seafood boil recipe! Simple straight to the point and most importantly good AF!

If you cut a tiny slit on top of the bag, it will let out the steam and won’t burst.
Thank you!
Which bag the one with the stuff in it or the empty bag?
@@mz.cooperroad5676 Both bags.
Its usually said in the instructions. Some flour in the bag too might help with bursting

With Reynolds you have to lightly flour the bags and put a slit in the bag to prevent the bags from bursting
I did this recipe but I added crab legs and I don’t want to brag but it came out delicious 👌I will definitely be doing it more often.

Yes you have to puncture the bag a couple of times up top for air flow.
The only person with appropriate seasoning in their boil
All cooking bags needs small puncture holes. Probably as close to the top, as not to spill all that juicy sauce. Good job. Enjoyed the video
