Thanks for watching! The part was ordered from the Shimano website. I believe it’s the handle for a Trinidad 14A or 20A. To double check, look at the knob size. It’s not for the Tranx, but it’s the same post size and knob as the Trinidad. I hope that helps. Tight lines and screaming drags!
Hey great vid ! I have the 300,400,and 500 tranx ! Great reels. My knob on the 500 is jacked up, do you know where I could possibly get only the white knob for the 500? I haven't found a place.
Old video....not sure this'll be seen, but does anyone know if you can put a tranx 500 handle on the 401A??? I like the ugly white, and the 401A comes stock with the paddle which is no Bueno for me. Thank you.

Through Shimano or ebay. I got mine from Shimano.

Planning to buy the HG model then upgrade the handle from a oceajigger 2000. Will use it for deep vertical jigging.

I don’t think it will fit. The 401 A is a smaller reel, therefore the parts are going to be smaller. Thanks for watching!

I switched to the black knob from a Stella 18k to get rid of the white and have a larger knob.
Wow nice, my white handle is stained pink because of my multi colored line. I wish it came with a black knob instead. Thanks for the information!
