This side 2 of Ode ti pogidan soko, Kiti kiti kiti kiti, is one number I can never be tired of. Like the dreg of palm wine at the bottom of the keg, the dreg of the Kiti kiti number is the last track, Igba mba jo.....Sir K. Just listen to the rolling talking drum that provided the crest on which Sunny's vocals and his backup singers rode till the end. That was the dreg of this number reserved for the elderly to savour with a chilled bottle of wine or beer in the evening after a hard day's work! Check it out.

can you believe,? in the early 90s he played in our town here in north germany - there was not a big audience, but those who were there enjoyed it the more - i was only a few meters away from the stage and it was a very intense experience, unforgettable! love and greetings from germany

@@perryadeleyesr3894 imagine, he has been to my town during the early 90s, but mind you: i live in north germany, haha - there were not much more than a hundred people in the audience, but still he gave all - unforgettable evening! i remember well, that he appeared in german tv in 1983 and it brought us a wave of african music - i had discovered african music some years before and had been desperately looking for records to buy - you simply couldn´t! after king sunny´s tv performance this changed: countless african bands and musicians came to germany and i saw many, many of them and was never disapointed, they were all brilliant musicians and performers! i´m thankful for that experience and happy that i took the chance - just give it a try to bring him to your town yourself, no? i send best wishes to you all across the globe... :-)
