In superheavyweights, there is a lot of difference in strenght between armwrestlers because of size and weight. On middleweights, size and weight are fixed, so the correct training is something that really makes difference. And we know how strong Todd is for a middleweight, and its no surprise that he uses powerlifting methods.

At first I was like "well I guess I'm not as strong as I used to be or maybe I was never strong to begin with", well It ate at me for 6 months, now for the last three months I have been doing something about it and I will be coming for seconds:) I never knew how awesome this sport is and how it reaches people across the globe for the chance to test oneself against another. It was good seeing that Todd gets so scientific and analytical in his approach towards strength progression in arm wrestling. In order for me to have kept progressing as a powerlifter, a deep knowledge of anatomy, exercise physiology and biomechanics (kinesiology) all came into play.
Is your pulley system adjustable? Varying height of the pulley, can help you work through specific ranges of motion mimicking a more natural feel to an actual human. Unlike a human, the pulley doesn't get tired, doesn't complain and is always there 24/7 for you.

I've always thought armwrestling should take a thing or two from the powerlifting training methods, so I'm glad to see that Toddzilla has done exactly that and with great success. Powerlifters tend to have their programs down to a tee (like how many weeks out from a competition to test their 1 rep max before starting to deload) so I've always been a little surprised to see people like you and Devon play it more by ear, though I'm sure that works well too.
I'd also love to see if Todd does anything specific for endurance, since endurance is more of a factor in armwrestling than it is in powerlifting.

    Amazing video.
Michael if you integrate the multispinner training for sidepressure with the artarm handle for pronation, i can see you win with devon using his lift against him

Toddzilla is an armwrestling guru. Fun to watch even Monster seem to learn a tip or two even though he is far more advanced.

    Great video!
On side note Michael - the top of Todd's left ear has got that black spot. I'm sure he's got an explanation for it or has already gotten it checked out by physician. If not, make sure he gets it looked at.
