    HR's starting salary must be Rs 5000 per month and maximum salary (at 25-30 years experience) must be Rs 15,000 per month. They don't deserve more than that. Any security guard or rickshaw puller can become a HR. It doesn't require any skill nor have I ever seen any HR who has any skill more than a security guard.

      @@religionofpeace782 I would say it should cost a total of Rs 10,000 for training a security guard to take the role of HR. HR courses should be removed from Indian B-Schools. Completely useless profession to say the least.

      Cognizant's is 4LPA for fresh tech grads. Infosys and TCS are also similar.

    Why are you directly reaching out to cognizant when they will absolutely deny the claim. I myself a living proof and guess what they didnt even pay me 2.5 lpa i only got 1.8 lpa a year back fresher. And thats in cognizant and gues what TCS did the same. The lady spoke the most PR speak bullshit kve ever heard.

    Will this lady join for 2.4 lacs or allow her kids to go for it? She does not even know how the hike percent (3%) works in this kind of IT company. In order to get your first promotion, we have to wait at least two years. Even with that, your hike will be much less. 15 years ago, I joined as a fresher in cognizant for 2.2 lac. It is a complete scam to take advantage of students desperate for employment. Within 6 months, they will sell the resource as billable by getting at least 60 dollars per hour. Can you imagine? . Your new company also gives you a percent increase based on your old salary.

    This HR sounds perfectly right for her role from her skills of explanation of going in round abt what is good without answering the what is bad question. And also about certification that she so proudly flaunts of doesn't have the actual explanation of an invisible contract that the employee has to pay by working certain years or pay from fnf for the certification investment if resigned before the period. So the HR needs to know that she is speaking in country that produces the maximum corporate skilled ppl. And that it doesn't take too long to be caught with the all things good conversation she wants to take it into.

    Ask what’s the notice period of these fresh offer roll out. They are giving excuse of less skilled workers then their notice period must not be more than a week. But their notice period will be 3 months even if they are unskilled. This is called bonded slavery.

    She will be earning that salary per month. She knows because of large scale unemployment and huge population, there will be plenty of Resume and job applications pending. Even for 15-20k per month, they will find desperate aspirants. Training programs and certifications are aimed to burden more tasks onto the same employee. Some will remain for years and hope for increments, others will eventually move, it's basically use and throw. They give peanut salary to freshers, but their middle management will be earning 10x that. Despite all this, they will still charge their clients huge amounts and the profits will be eaten up by the company and perks will be provided to middle and upper management. This situation is a common trend in India. It's basically labour exploitation.

      Obviously. Grads and postgrads are applying for lowest levels of govt jobs that have basic salary like 6k. Why? Because there are far fewer jobs than candidates.

      @@a6hiji7 it is no longer possible to lead a comfortable life because of increased expenses, gst, traffic, petrol.. everything is costly..and fresher salaries are a joke. I am not joking, house maids are earning more these days.

      @@a6hiji7 that too and more of an overpopulation problem. Even for 10k, there are graduates ready to work.. HRs are flooded with resumes, it is easy for them to choose the best among them and give them some training and make them job capable. Our country has become a bad environment for salaried class, especially the private sector
