Employee and company have an agreement between them, not a relationship. Company pays and gets service of the employee in return. Using word 'loyalty' in a business setting only shows how delusional people are. Business needs be conducted like a business, don't make it a relationship.

@@beyourself7280 you are delusional yourself. In India, there is such thing as loyalty and morality. If you are a westerner you didn't understand this. In my vicinity, there is a papad making small scale company, when the owners son went bankrupt, the employees saved the company by lending money and working freely for almost 8 months until it has restored. They did all this because of sheer respect and loyalty towards the owners father. That is loyalty. Indian people if you treat them right, they will take bullet for you before it takes you. Business with out loyalty, morality and ethics will rob your piece of mind.

Several years ago, I was tasked with negotiating a resolution to the issue of a United Nations agency poaching staff members from an organization with which I was affiliated in Iraq. This was a challenging situation, as there was animosity between the two organizations due to their presence in humanitarian settings. I was informed that the UN agency had recruited some of our staff. However, I brought the management team together and emphasized the importance of our partnership and the potential for collaboration and synergy. My initiative for peace was ultimately successful, and we worked together while I was there. The staff members who moved did so due to the attractive remuneration packages and opportunities offered by the UN agency.

We freshers are waiting from 6 months but most of the IT companies are not onboarding their selected candidates. Why they hired in first place now they are saying we don't have requirement as of now and no one is talking about it.

Employers go against even something as basic as worker unions; so basically this is just a fight between powerful employees/executives and the employers - which is a fraction of workforce but enough to make it to news.
Take away is employer and employee rights are not so difficult to jot down but the intent to be fair is missing. Story of majority of the workforce is unheard more than it is unknown

I always remind my boss that their pay sucks and they have to do something about it, and that people are going to end up leaving if they don't. Now they are going to raise the wages of my group LOL.... btw when I say I remind them. I do it EVERYDAY with any chance I get. I'm just like "YO I CANNOT AFFORD TO LIVE I NEED A RAISE" LOL but in a cute funny way, and then hit them with the "IM SERIOUS, I NEED A RAISE" lol

as ex-infy.. i have fond memories of time spent in infy.
It has to treating its employees better. Get in sync with reality that other orgs are better employers. We are not working for fun but for money. If someone pays more we move there.
