In my vicinity, there is a papad making small scale company, when the owners son went bankrupt, the employees saved the company by lending money and working freely for almost 8 months until it has restored. They did all this because of sheer respect and loyalty towards the owners father. That is loyalty. Indian people if you treat them right, they will take bullet for you before it takes you. Business with out loyalty, morality and ethics will rob your piece of mind.
Organisations strictly say no to moonlighting but they bill a senior resource to two clients and the work needs to be managed for both projects with the help of a junior in one project; and irony is that the additional billing wouldn’t be passed onto any of the two employees…

People change jobs for below : 1) Salary 2) promotion 3) Forcing an employee to take up a management role (or) some role not meeting his technical abilities 4) Not Giving opportunities inspite of upskilling on new technology just giving reason as you don't have exp in new technology 5) Lack of development projects related to new technology 6 ) Forcing people to do more certifications without any billable opportunities

This has been happening for ages and here is a living example been working for couple of decades with absolutely no recognition or visbility. The leaders like this CTS CEO tend to take familiar talent with them, whom they've worked with for long and this is a typical one of the cases, same has happened with Mindtree/LTI too and i'm certain with other services, product firms.

This was a challenging situation, as there was animosity between the two organizations due to their presence in humanitarian settings. I was informed that the UN agency had recruited some of our staff. However, I brought the management team together and emphasized the importance of our partnership and the potential for collaboration and synergy. My initiative for peace was ultimately successful, and we worked together while I was there. The staff members who moved did so due to the attractive remuneration packages and opportunities offered by the UN agency.

Poaching is happening since decades. Sometimes competitor companies internally hook up on not taking eachothers employees. They even coordinate their HR department to cross inform the other company if someone appears for interview.

Its 100% correct, the company I worked in did raise as per market standards but if someone joins they have better pay than seniors and we do all the work train them make sure we taught them well apart from doing our job, but we ask for a raise, they say its not company policy, we can give as much if you are a new joinee not an existing one, wtf is that logic a person working hard make sure everything works fine for years will not get paid well but the person who gets better pay than existing one if he comes from other compay, companies should think about their employees

True I am in one of these company and here you will get nothing if you are good I have developed a POC for them and using that POC they have earned in CR but what I get in return nothing just a 4% hike that is nothing it didn't even cover the inflation. and now I am searching for new job when My manager got to know that, he offer me 50% hike. why now...... they are will do anything for profit.

Employers go against even something as basic as worker unions; so basically this is just a fight between powerful employees/executives and the employers - which is a fraction of workforce but enough to make it to news. None of those anti-poaching clauses in employment aggrements are un-enforseeable. The employer cannot restrict anybody's ability to work anywhere.

Employers go against even something as basic as worker unions; so basically this is just a fight between powerful employees/executives and the employers - which is a fraction of workforce but enough to make it to news.
Take away is employer and employee rights are not so difficult to jot down but the intent to be fair is missing. Story of majority of the workforce is unheard more than it is unknown
They did not even take my exit interview and treated me like garage. No respect for loyal employees. Now they started crying. Karma.

I always remind my boss that their pay sucks and they have to do something about it, and that people are going to end up leaving if they don't. Now they are going to raise the wages of my group LOL.... btw when I say I remind them. I do it EVERYDAY with any chance I get. I'm just like "YO I CANNOT AFFORD TO LIVE I NEED A RAISE" LOL but in a cute funny way, and then hit them with the "IM SERIOUS, I NEED A RAISE" lol
the fundamental lies at the root, IT started off with quality and capable people, with Y2K tier 2 and tier 3 colleges along with self called tier 1 colleges created mou with companies and sent mostly non computer science candidates from mechanical, electrical, civil, production and automobile not to become attrition

It has to treating its employees better. Get in sync with reality that other orgs are better employers. We are not working for fun but for money. If someone pays more we move there.
And in addition now Infy chief wants employees to work harder, 70 hours per week. Is he going to pay extra for those extra hours? It's always take take take for these guys😮
