Does your mileage suffer when the air filter gets dirty?

How about revisiting this with a COVID-19 capable filter? 🤔 Full face masks like this is 100% the best option for when the epidemy hits 10 million cases.

I love this idea and will be making my own! I've recently got into woodworking, and I'm a little concerned about inhaling dust! Thanks!!

Well Done! Do you happen to remember any details about the mask you used? I haven't found one similar on ebay.

with your air intake where it is you might consider an active carbon layer for the days you eat a spicy lunch

exactly lol. when I build one im also gonna consider a quick fan reverse button for belching...now if i could just figure out how to smoke a cig wearing it :D idk if ill actually do that but i do intend to make a face mounted unit that rivals 3ms. I picked up a 6800 Din which was shipped as 6800 regular... assholes wouldnt do anything but a full refund and i needed the mask due to a mold problem. so i later paid a diff company to buy the front part with din port.
(what really pissed me off was amazon removed my first review because it included a line about the company not product... wish someone would knock them down a notch...idk why i pay to be treated like that. they had also closed my case because i refused full refund ship it back and was trying to negotiate either cost of front piece refund or shipping me that damn part... i miss 5 years ago when they would bend over backwards to make sure customer was happy... but i digress)
in a month or so im getting a 3d printer and im about a week from having my spot welder complete for lithium ion pack assembly. The only hard part will be modeling the din threads.
i figure a 2 cell pack on each side where the bayonet carts usually go, blower filter on din port in middle. should be easy to get 10hrs run time if not more.
