I agree w that I can actually read his thought process. He is very big also lol weighs 18 lbs. Very smart and his best friend is not the other cat but our standard sized Labradoodle lol.
We have a Tuxedo cat and he has a heart on his nose. Everyone that sees him first notices the heart. He is a wonderful pet and we love him very much and take great care of him including vet checkups quite often. He is now 14 years old.
I rescued a tuxedo male 3 years ago. I introduced him to my dog which he hid for 2 days. In less than a week, they were sleeping in the same room. They became great friends. He's very friendly to me and my room mate, but he doesn't like strangers.
I have had two male tuxedo cats and they really are affectionate, especially so with a female ownery. They are extremely loyal, don’t like to sit or be held too much (squirmy), kind of like to do their own thing and just be free and give you cuddles when they feel like it. They are very playful and curious and brave. They have more of a dog-like personality and super friendly. They are good with dogs and kids. They are social and get the zoomies a lot.
May I add, both of mine loved belly rubs and purr loudly. Then again this is all cats, but I felt compared to other cats I had, they were the most fun.
the description of Tuxedos describes many other cats. All cats need clean litterboxes. And there are contradictions. Friendly. Hostile. I had 4 tuxedos over the years. My absolute favorite. It has been said that Tuxedos do not have specific traits as they are not a separate breed. Just a unique color.
My tuxedo boy was very lovey and loved giving kitty kissies. He came whenever I called him and he followed me everywhere. When I was gone, he missed me and cried.
Haha, my Tux is sassy and antisocial. She loves me and only me. But she is also very intelligent, loyal and a real chatterbox. We have grown very close over the years and understand each other. She is my delicate little flower that blossoms a little more each day ❤.
I was gonna say all these videos are like Tuxedo cats are very playful and loyal. Ok well that applies to every single cat, it's like these videos are cat horoscopes lol
Nope They are loving and caring animals, and they are always there when you need them. And they're always playful and very intelligent animals. So they're not just normal cats. It's a very special and if you've got nothing nice to say, then don't say it at all
I have had my kitten for 2 years now, and she does love to play games! Lucky has taught me she knows how to play tag, hide and seek, fetch, and catching balled up pieces of paper. She even likes to play fight, scratching up the backs of my hands in the process. I never knew how alone I truly was until I received this tiny tuxedo cat in a shoe box! She warmed up to my (at the time) 7 year old son rather quickly. And yeah, I always find her fur all over my apartment, but I never have to groom Lucky.
My tuxedo cat, Binks, is currently “nursing” on my sleeve…he’s three…he is very clumsy, never lands on his feet 😅….definitely on the chonk side lol..but he is my baby boy 🥰
My parents had a cute tuxedo cat that came from an abusive background before they adopted him from a stray. He lost all of his teeth. He did got along with our first cat. Even my parents got a black Labrador retriever from a friend of mine. He started to attack the dog after they met. My parents had him for 13 years. He came around our home during the summer of 1993. I used to play with him before my parents got the dog. He was a funny kitty cat. With my sister in April 1994 that she gotten 2 Manx kittens from a pet store. One was a grey tabby and the other one was a tuxedo one. They were siblings and both boys. We named the grey tabby Pepper and for the tuxedo one was Taboo. Pepper had health problems at such a young age. He had to be put down by the vet. My sister cried because she had a special bond with the kitten. She went to another pet store that was next door towards the vet. She gotten a cute red tabby kitten. He was so tiny fur ball. He was a little bit smaller than Taboo was a little bit bigger kitten. Those 2 grew up next to each other from kittens towards adulthood. The red tabby kitten was named Salem. We named the kitten after a character from Archie’s comic books that had a orange cat. My sister had Taboo till 1999 when he had health problem for almost having him 5 years. She gave me Salem as a pet before moving towards Orlando Florida. I had Salem for 7 years. He was a sweet cat.
I have a tux. He is terrified of my youngest son. He's very skidish around him. But the cat won't leave me alone. I've had him for 10 years since a kitten. Never been a cat fan but he's part of the family obviously. He still get on my nerves but would be sad if he were gone.
I have noticed over the years that the color of a cat does reflect its personality. Tabbies of the spekly brown and black mingle coloration are fantastic leapers. Gray cats seem to be very regal. Oranges are often goofy. That's all I can recall at the moment.
Now watch 1:40 to 2:01, and then instantly skip to 4:24 to 4:39+... First: "... this can be attributed to their shorter hair..." and 3 Minutes later: "Tuxedo cats often have longer fur...". EDIT: This video is bull-dung. Nothing here is restricted to tuxies only.
If tuxedo cats aren’t a breed how can they share qualities? Wouldn’t different breeds have different traits if both cats were tuxedos? Just curious because I’ve never owned a cat and am looking to get a tux
just became a tuxedo cat father myself and my little girl is a very energetic, friendly, and vocal companion. She does not destroy property but sometimes lightly bites my computer screen and tv screen. She will also occasionally bite me or reach for under the bed sheets when I sleep. Anyone know why? But she is a wonderful little girl
I have two brothers. They are very smart and loveable. They NEVER tear up anything and mind me very well. I would NOT trade them for anything else. They get along fine with an old female Calico and little dog.
I have a 8 month old tuxedo kitten who is a bit too friendly with other humans. She comes and checks me when asleep. I pretended to fall on the fall on the floor to train her how to get 999 on my phone, which works well. So pretty and loyal.
We have one (the kitten pictured). She is an absolute nutter and is a about a year old now. We adopted her from a local rescue because she was a swimmer; he bag legs didn't work properly. I gave her physio and looked after her as I worked from home. Her name is Lizzy.
Our black and white female is always alone, no males, seems normal as i have seen makes that do things that got killed outdoors, sadly. Our fifteen month grey male tabby and 3 1/2 year old male orange both succumbed to disappearing.
Mine was a feral, who i adopted one bad below feezing temp winter night, enclosed my back porch for him that night w a heating pad fuzzy warm bed. And yet hes not once let me pet him in the 3yrs since that winter night i set up his room bed and food bowls. Super sad, he had to of had someone be really cruel to him for him to still be so skittish of humans, me. Ive laid on the ground for over an hour and he only came maybe a foot away from me and runs away if i even move a finger.
I have what people call a tuxedo cat. I really hate that name though. It feels kind of condescending. And I am skeptical about this video because my boy doesn’t have anything close to a con and has been perfect since I adopted him and his little brother. He is the sweetest, most playful, smartest, loving, and funniest animal I’ve ever met. He has so much personality. I guess he’s been making a mess with his litter box lately.
When I was 14 a kitten crawled into my dad’s truck engine. Cried and begged to keep it. Didn’t put together I’d be stuck with the bitch until I was 34 😂
They are Not a breed of cat with specifc behavioral traits, they are just cats who are black and white.... and more points off for using a fake voice that can't properly say tortoise shell
Have had many cats but I must say our Tuxedo is the most curious, vigilant and intelligent of them all...
Ours is the idiot of the house. Teddy is trying to unalive himself with the fridge.
My cat that hates other cats, but just like me and my mum and I joke to you
I agree w that I can actually read his thought process. He is very big also lol weighs 18 lbs. Very smart and his best friend is not the other cat but our standard sized Labradoodle lol.
Tuxedo cat is my favorite out of all my neighborhood cats. 2nd is black cat 3rd is tabby
Wonderful cats!
As a proud tuxedo cat father( may my precious girl rest in peace) there are nothing but pros to owning one.
I've had three tuxedo cats over the years. Each special in his own way. 🌹♥️
I have a long hair tuxedo boy, he is sooo sweet and friendly…he’s my little angel, gentleman and soo soo handsome
We have a Tuxedo cat and he has a heart on his nose. Everyone that sees him first notices the heart. He is a wonderful pet and we love him very much and take great care of him including vet checkups quite often. He is now 14 years old.

Most cats are wary of strangers. They have to be.
Exactly, our Tux will not tolerate anyone but us.
I have had two male tuxedo cats and they really are affectionate, especially so with a female ownery. I agree with everything. But the dogs will never be friends with Tux.
Tux wants pets when he says it is okay.
So this cat is not a breed it’s just a coloration. Is it just me or were the cons easily applicable to most cats?
I had 2 female tuxedos, great companions, first one lived to be 19years 10 months, second one is15 years old now.
the description of Tuxedos describes many other cats. All cats need clean litterboxes. And there are contradictions. Friendly. Hostile. I had 4 tuxedos over the years. My absolute favorite. It has been said that Tuxedos do not have specific traits as they are not a separate breed. Just a unique color.
Maybe a coincidence then, but all of mine have been the sweetest, most loving and loyal kitties I've ever had.
My tuxedo boy was very lovey and loved giving kitty kissies. He came whenever I called him and he followed me everywhere. When I was gone, he missed me and cried.
Coat colors matter in domestic cats. I swear! All gingers are the same, all black cats are too!
I grew up with Tuxedo cats. Each had nothing but pros, even the kittens. They're lovely cats and honestly what made my husband love cats.
I love our tuxedo cat.
I love tuxedo cats so cute‼️ I want one

@@leonardoskocic8266 Really I have yet to find a cat.
I love my tuxie!

I love my tuxedo cat!!!
All these pros and cons are pertinent to ALL cats.
But… tux cats are just cats that are black and white. They are normal cats that just happen to be B&W. But my tux is very sweet.
I was gonna say all these videos are like Tuxedo cats are very playful and loyal. Ok well that applies to every single cat, it's like these videos are cat horoscopes lol
My best friend stray cat seems to don’t care of strangers. SHE LITERALLY LOVES EVERYONE
Nope They are loving and caring animals, and they are always there when you need them. And they're always playful and very intelligent animals. So they're not just normal cats. It's a very special and if you've got nothing nice to say, then don't say it at all
They are also an inbred of a lot of different cats which can cause some type behavior problems
My tuxedo cat never leaves my side.
Just adopted two tuxedo cats (mother and daughter) can't wait for a New life to begin 🎉
I have had my kitten for 2 years now, and she does love to play games! Lucky has taught me she knows how to play tag, hide and seek, fetch, and catching balled up pieces of paper. All the so-called cons are pertinent to most cats regardless of colour.

Moody indeed! I just cuddle him when I can. He will meow so I have to let him down before he scratches my face off .

My tuxedo kitty does zoomies, plays with my feet when I’m trying to sleep and she does crab walks 😂
I loved my tuxedo cat feather
I have noticed over the years that the color of a cat does reflect its personality. Tabbies of the spekly brown and black mingle coloration are fantastic leapers. Gray cats seem to be very regal. Oranges are often goofy. That's all I can recall at the moment.
Sooo many contradictions in this (re-watch and listen carefully)
I thought I was the only one who noticed.
@@heavenking2065 Though.... a lot of this is true (I have 2 tuxes) lol
All this can apply to almost all cats.
My tuxedo cat has spots under his nose and mouth, so he looks as if he has a mustache and a goatie 😂
He totally contradicted himself on alot of these things. I think cats are all different personalities no one can judge them
What I got from this video:
#1, they look nice.
#2, they act like every other cat on the planet.
...waste of time video.
Cute ❤❤❤
TC have a dope personality
What color is the the white and black cat?

I have one. They are not a breed- it is coloration found among many breeds. This is general about cats, but is not tuxedo cat specific
2:21 basically erases everything.
There are no cons. They are a normal cat. This is dumb.
Yeah the coat is just a color change nothing different in their personality. RUclipsrs are just starved for attention and don't create anything new
I had a tuxedo cat he is beautiful. It look like he don't like men.
If tuxedo cats aren’t a breed how can they share qualities? Wouldn’t different breeds have different traits if both cats were tuxedos? Just curious because I’ve never owned a cat and am looking to get a tux
Pro. Tuxedo cats get along great with other pets
Con. Tuxedo cats may not get along with other pets
Idk the science but I will say a tuxedo cat is just different ...idk what it is but the energy is always different per cat .
A cat is cat. There are no cons!

So opposite to my tuxedo cat. He’s so moody and can’t be pet 😅
Mine allows some minor Petting, though He likes to sleep on my legs and follows me everywhere around

I think you made a mistake in listing “potential for mischief” as a con when it is so obviously one of their biggest strengths 😊
They are cats!! Get a life! This video contradicts itself. 😂😂😂

I have what people call a tuxedo cat. I really hate that name though. It feels kind of condescending. Exactly
When I was 14 a kitten crawled into my dad’s truck engine. Cried and begged to keep it. Didn’t put together I’d be stuck with the bitch until I was 34 😂
Who compiled this nonsense, tuxedo is not a breed its just a fur pattern.
I have cat that is a sport coat breed.
And what AI bot narrated it? There are mispronunciations throughout.
Lots of contradictions too! Would love to have edited this script!😹
They got you to click on it. Mission accomplished.
Bruh the cons are literally countering the pros. Which is it
I’m myla’s brother and I have a baby tuxedo cat
My Xena is always with me and near me. She follows me everywhere. She always wants attention. She’s not that independent
Tuxedo is a cat colour pattern, not a breed
Mine only likes me and will hide when any one comes around. He’s fine with the dogs and my snow shoe cat. He just doesn’t like other ppl.
My tuxedo cat is mean af.
They are Not a breed of cat with specifc behavioral traits, they are just cats who are black and white.... and more points off for using a fake voice that can't properly say tortoise shell
