Rocardo’s RANGE. The EXCELLENCE jumped out.
I love it, I should've been watched. I forgot that he is the new designer. The range is amazing, plus it stays true to what we know Tisci for. For the normal Burberry buyer, it may not be what is expected. For me, he's expanded the line and made it so much more street style friendly. As I read, I think it will have a greater range next fall season with more 'classical Burberry' .I hope I wrote that politically correct :)
Revenues should go up. Best Burberry there ever was and it's all over the fashion magazines with 8+ page editorials in Vogue, 032c, etc.

IT S AMAZINGGG
The people climbing up the scaffolding was very distracting. Were the guests so repelled by the clichéd, conceptually styled, gimmicky Millenial-geared sportswear section that they decided to escape by climbing the walls? He excelled with the central beige section through to the finale. It was sensual, modern and feminine. Beautiful, pristine, clean lines, fluid silhouettes, gorgeous plays on texture, interesting layering in the styling, nice colour palettes and fantastic prints. There were some beautiful little details, buttons on the hem of some trousers, light-as-air feather trim on several looks, nods towards classical opulence and chandeliers with the intricate beading on the shoes. And the minimal makeup, bold red lip and slicked back hair was a lesson in modern glamour.
The first part showing streetwear was awful, but once he settled down and showed many variants of the Burberry camel trench coat, the designs were amazing and will sell. Similar to how Karl Lagerfeld does basic Chanel and twists it around a bit.
Not at all what I expected from Burberry but it's interesting. It seems like they are trying to become more modern/trendy. Some of the styles remind me of Gucci nowadays.
It is totally unexpected from them...I mean when you think of Burberry you think of classy clothing..something almost opposite to that...however it is good that they are kind of experimenting but I feel like the Burberry feel went away a bit too much...
*Edit* at least they still have some pieces that scream Burberry...but hopefully they won't get into the whole "make a scandalous item so that people will talk" just like gucci did...

Here’s my synopsis and budget saving idea that this collection reminds me of: go into your parents’ closet and select 2 to 3 pieces of clothing they saved from the 1980s, 1990s to 2000s, and wear them together; whether they match or fit you is negligible.
