Anyone got a link for the tungsten loaded he’s using?
ruclips.net/video/7gkt4oFVbiM/видео.html Kev uses the semi-stiff which is the all-rounder. There is now a X-Stiff version too.
Amazing result well done .. enjoy the esp videos & am a big fan of the quality product .. serious question @esp did ye get the cryogen hook points sorted? As in sharper ? .. pls answer my question , this is not a pop at THe company as the rest of the product is fantastic & I’d go back fishing your hooks as well as all the other esp quality tackle I use if the hook points have improved .. esp is my go to range in the carp industry
Many anglers like Kev use them straight out the packet, no sharpening and catch more than most of us!
@@ESPCarpgear maybe just a bad batch I got, they are not even close to sharp .. using other branded hooks & catching straight out of the packet .. maybe I could send these back to get swapped as I’ve £30 of hooks here that won’t see the bottom of my lakes .... sorry to b a buzz kill & in fairness all my other esp gear in pure quality
@@davidchurchward2943 Hi David, drop us an email at support@esp-carpgear.com and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
Can’t find those Ronnie Clips anywhere boys, aren’t they out yet?
End of November 👍🏻👍🏻
Haha I've been looking also... I'm glad they are on their way. Nice an easy no more putty to try an make neat on cold days an a nicer shape compared to the tungsten beads esp already do. 👌😁👍
@@ESPCarpgear cheers lads I’ll keep my eye out for them, there a game changer 👌🏼
@@ryankeene5641 exactly mate I was looking everywhere for them after watching the video! Save me a fortune in putty 😂
@@ryankeene5641 that’s it mate your happy with the presentation in winter, it’s just choosing the right pop up after that. 👍
Witch rods you use ?
12ft Onyx 3.25
You bin adding hormones to your bait 🤨

😮🤭👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
Josh harbour loves Terry Hearn
couldn't you find two chairs?
Nope! We were lucky we had one!
Should have been Dave on the bucket.
My god some right jealous ppl out there. Why do ppl have to knock ppl. Well done kev
That bit at the beginning😂😂 Putting a hook in a random carps mouth doesn't make you more of a man than anyone else😂 regardless of size, it's all luck on the day(s). Well in though👌
Possibly, but if it was just luck then why has it never happened previously? Kev has been back to a different swim on the lake since this video and had a lot more big fish too!
@@ESPCarpgear it is luck😂 if it isn't then do it again😂
@@Matthew-ik9cv you're probably the sort of guy that has one game of poker and says that is all luck too.... Good luck on your approach pal 👍
@@philipglancy8593 no not at all😂 not the same thing😂 chucking a rig out and sitting behind it for long enough then yeah you'll catch whatevers in the lake in time😂 just some people are lucky and catch the targets first😂
@@Matthew-ik9cv okay then pal, I'll agree to disagree on this one.
You keep sitting laughing to yourself with your rig in the water waiting for that target, but make sure you don't bring it in otherwise you could miss the target.... As I said before good luck with your approach 👍
These sort of waters are very difficult to respect in my eyes, just a runs water really, but well done anyway
@CastAirLead 😂 anywhere where you can have multiple hits of 40s in a day is not a challenge is it!
Because they've been up to something....
@Neil Hawkins definitely is
HORMONES
Nope, we were there filming! Tinned hemp, small Boilies, CCMoore bloodworm, few casters and plastic double corn over the top. Kev even fished with the head bailiff and caught tons over a session. The whole thing was internet hysteria it seems.
This is not aimed at ESP at all, but how would you be to know whether he was or wasn’t adding this to his mix? Bloodworms definitely don’t cause the reaction seen in the drone footage, which is of course what Kev has suggested is his “edge”. I know first hand what does have that effect though. Namely when you get a tad overzealous with it, which in his Nash interview he states is what happened during the filming of this video
@@SHEPHERDCARPER We filmed the making of the mix and on every occasion we have been out with Kev its pretty transparent there is no magic trickery or silver bullet edge. He's just a very experienced angler.
Fish on higher stocked waters have been known to respond to a spomb for years, even if it had no food in, they come in to investigate. The bloodworm liquid and juices of naturals is mega attractive and many anglers use worms etc to great effect. So far, there is no evidence or examples of a hormone, or why it would be useful in fishing at all or catch you more fish.
Most the time it is a case of extremely experienced world level anglers picking the right swim, the perfect spots on the best few days and working solidly over a few days with standout bait. Often they are surrounded by anglers of mixed ability, old shelf-life baits, in the wrong swim and enjoying a social. The results then stand out.
Very boring
Yeah, no drum and bass
Go watch carl and Alex then you nod
All the bait and tackle he needs who wouldn't do well. MORE TELL LESS OF THIS GUY.
I think the main thing from this session was that it was little and often on the bait front. Tackle wise he would of only gone through a pack of hooks and reused the hook lengths.
