बिली सर की इंदिरा गांधी जी के साथ अच्छा मेलजोल था वो दुधवा नेशनल पार्क में कार्यरत कुछ एक अधिकारीयों को पसंद नहीं आता था और इस वजह से वो billy sir को defame करने के प्रयास में रहते थे ...मेरे पिताजी दुधवा से वरिष्ठ लिपिक से सेवानिवृत्त हुए है और ये मेरा सौभाग्य रहा में बिली सर से मिला भी ....तारा जब नरभक्षी बन गई थी तब बिली अर्जन सिंह सर की ही गोली से मरी थी और ये डाक्टर राम लखन सिंह साहब ने अपनी किताब में लिखा है .....आपके vlog बहुत अच्छे होते और night drive वाले बहुत ही जबरदस्त होते हैं 🙏🏻 leopards दुधवा में कम है सर मगर कतर्नियाघाट सैंक्चुअरी , बहराईच में बहुत ज्यादा है, वहां आए दिन तेंदुए हमले की ख़बर आती रहती है

Abhi apke vlog me bhi mene dekha ap to sbhi ko cross hote samay sbhi ko dipper dete h mgr samne wala nhi deta shyd 2 logo ne bs dia tha. The probable reason for billy to suggest two seperate departments is because the forest Service from the British time saw forests as a resource for timber and other produce and as a hunting ground. They were more focused on the revenue from these jungles. They hardly saw it as a habitat for wildlife and their ecological value. That's why ironically hunters and naturalists knew more about wildlife than forest department. The current forest department also hasn't changed that much as they still have to ask for help from people like nawab shafat ali khan, lakhpat singh rawat and joy hukil for dealing with problem animals. Even tranquilizer training is provided by private experts to forest guards.
Only because of high profile project tiger they indulged into caring for wildlife. This is the reason why the forest department or the government doesn't care to protect grassland Savannahs in deccan plateau which houses half of our wildlife because it's not as mainstream as tigers, and they classify those habitats as "wastelands".
But the idea of two departments doesn't work in practical sense and would have actually created lot of interdepartmental conflict and blamegame than any actual work.
