Hi, Erin! I'm from the Philippines. We eat halo-halo with a spoon and by mixing it first. Filipino-style Spaghetti is know for being sweet. I'm glad you enjoyed Jollibee! The Spicy Chickenjoy is what I like the most. I hope you try the Palabok next time if you have it there, would like to know what you think of it. :)
I love you Erin! 💗 Jollibee was the go to for every Filipino. Halo halo is the go to dessert for summer here in the Philippines. Also the spaghetti is so good. I love peach mango pie too.
Maybe next time try the palabok🍝 The french fries & cheese yum burger 🍔 🍟 Btw. the Halo Halo should be eaten with a spoon mixing it all first then endulge! 💖
Yayyy loved this video! I’ve had jollibee before and I fell in love, the flavors were so different but I didn’t want to stop eating it. Now I’m hungry lol
Amelia Suarez halo halo means “mix mix” you’re supposed to mix all of the ingredients together first than eat it. Also you generally eat it with a spoon and not a straw
Erin! I seriously love your videos. You are always, fun, positive, and create such entertaining videos.. You spend big money on your content and you deserve way more of a following!! Just wanted to say keep up the good work :)
Filipino in AZ here - We don’t have Jollibee here so it’s a luxury when we go elsewhere with it LOL. For the longest time I didn’t know that it wasn’t normal for spaghetti to be sweet. Like my white boyfriend (I think he pointed it out at the age of 19; we’re 21 now) pointed to me that our spaghetti is really sweet. I was like “whatchumean.” ANYWAY thanks for trying jollibee and I’m glad you enjoyed it!!
Erin, Hash = potatoes. thank of hash'browns'. and corned beef isbeef brisket cured in brine and boiled, served hot typically with cabbage, or cold, sliced for sandwiches.
Next trip from California, I can't wait to try the aloha burger, steak burger and rice and corn beef hash and rice! Yes I agree the peach mango pie is yummy! The halo halo and pineapple drink is good. Good reviews! Awesome 😎
Corned beef hash is made of corned beef (spiced cured beef, similar to pastrami) and potatoes which are prepared similarly to hashbrowns hence it being called a hash
For foreigners or those who are missing out what Jollibee is. These are the items you have to try: Peach Mango Pie, Chickenjoy either Original or Spicy, Burgersteak combo either with Mashed potatoes or steamed rice. Adobo rice. Try ChickenJoy with their own gravy, Halo halo (but please mix it because it is a frozen dessert or like Korean Bingsoo. And their Aloha burger. Their pineapple juice because I don't think any American restaurant or fast food has it. Pinoy spaghetti. You can get combos out of these items too.
Yes! I actually have worked at zaxbys for over 3 years now and honestly the food is pretty good. You’d think I’d be tired of it by now but it’s good quality
Really want to try this place now!! Also, Zaxby's is great. If you want more fast food spaghetti, you should try Fazoli's if you have one near you. Best bread sticks ever!!!
Spaghetti, ketchup , lots salchicha , and lots of cheese lol that's how my grandma would make it for me every other day . Lol ❤️ never gets old still to this day super good !!!
Wow Erin, another great fast food tasting! Being in SE Va, I've never heard of Jollibee, but I bet it would be popular! 1) New food experience for us and 2) A large Filipino community that lives here. :-P
My mum is Filipino and everytime we went back to visit, Jollibee was a must!! I always got the chicken joy meal with fries, but as I grew up became obsessed with the spaghetti with the chicken instead! Wish we had it in Australia cuz I miss it 😭
I like how you do your blog, never a dull moment, and you're funny too, i like it how you cut short your vids, it does not give a boring moment, thanks for reacting to Jolibee or some of us call it Jobee 😊 tip* .you have to dip the Chicken in gravy and try the spicy Chicken, it's way better than the regular one .Always mix the halo halo .mix the spagg before eating it Hello from Philippines
I lived in the Philippines this past summer and they would put sweetened condensed milk in their spaghetti. Also spaghetti sandwiches were a thing, so imagine that spaghetti between two slices of wonder bread! 😜
I'm Filipino and I've never heard of spaghetti sandwiches. Maybe just not popular in my part of the woods. I'm more familiar with Japanese yakisoba sandwiches.
you should try the halo halo again, but this time, mix all of it until its turned to color purple. grab a spoon and eat with the sweet beans, caramel flan, and melted ube yam/ice cream in there. Thats the proper way to do it. Happy eating! ;) Jollibee are everywhere in my country (Philippines), even way more than Mcdonalds... Now there are more than 1500+ international branches abroad...
I've been eating Jollibee since I was a kid. They have been around since the late 70's... You should try to eat again a chickenjoy best when its freshly-cooked. Try to mix everything first before you eat the halo-halo (halo means MIX btw) I'm a filipino btw. Nice to hear your thoughts.
I am a filipino I grew up eating jollibee. I love their spaghetti and chicken. By the way filipino spaghetti is sweet cause it's made with banana ketchup. I also like their lumpia and palabok. By the way halo-halo means mix-mix you are suppose to mix eat then eat it.
Jollibee Spaghetti is the bomb ❤️ If you'd like to have it spicy, you can ask for a hot sauce and put it on the spaghetti. Glad you liked Jollibee ❤️❤️❤️
Hot dog with spaghetti is pretty standard kids meal i feel like.. my dad would chop sausages in little 1 inch sections and poke the uncooked spaghetti strands through and then boil , and it was like a weird take on octopus hot dogs 😅 And i always put pineapple amd/or mushroom sauce on my burgers ofc with sweet potato fries and aioli 👌❤
At first I was like “hotdogs in spaghetti??? What???” Then I was like “oh, yeah. We used to put hotdogs in spaghetti-o’s! It’s basically the same thing.”
As an Aussie pineapple on a burger is pretty common. ‘Hamburger with the Lot’ has pineapple so does the ‘Hawaiian Chicken Burger’ both classics and delicious.

You're supposed to eat Halo-halo, Erin! Not drink! Hahaha! Literal translation is Mix-Mix coz you should mix it first before eating it. 😂 Try it again that way next time.
Erin Robinson hey those are the standard halo halo.. sometimes they switch the ice cream but that’s really it! Make sure u mix it next time and eat it with a spoon!
@@ErinRobinson that's the basic halo-halo but here in the PH, we have different desserts that are kinda similar to it or sometimes we add more into it like a flan, ube(purple yum), and sweetened jackfruit. 😊
Hi I'm a Filipina (female version of a Filipino). Let me give you some insight about our national dessert or favorite summer snack Halo-halo. Halo-Halo means mix-mix...Halo-halo literally means mix in Filipino.. so you just need to mixed everything to savor the flavor of all the ingredients...Then eat those beans and jelly in it (from the bottom of the cup...did you see them? Those are actually made feom coconut flesh and been flavored in liquid sugar...We called them NATA DE COCO and KAONG)....then you just have to sip / drink the liquid or the shaved ice (when it becomes liquid), or eat them all together. You see, Philippines is a tropical country, our ancestors way of cooling down themselves is thru some cold desserts...and thus Halo-Halo was made. By the way, Peach-Mango pie is my favorite in Jollibee. And yeah...cant get enough of that sweet thing😊. The chickenjoy is best to dipped with their signature gravy. What we do love about chickenjoy was its crispy-licious and the juiciness of its meat. If Jollibee in your place have a PALABOK, please do try that. It has lime there. You need to sprinkle some lime on the palabok then mix it also so all the ingredients will come together to get the real flavor of it. It is an original food here in the Philippines.
I'm Half-Filipino & Half-White, and since I'm mixed, I've always ate things like halfway it's weird. Like I enjoy the sweetness of the spaghetti, and I often add sugar to my spaghetti sauce to remove the tartness of sauce, but I've never cared for putting hotdogs in my spaghetti. If you order a whole fish I'll only eat the tail half, b/c the head weirds me out. If you ever get someone to make you a Filipino fruit salad, those are delicious! But with all things, take Filipino food in moderation; as much as they love their sweets they suffer a lot of diabetes as well.
Here in the Philippines, the Jollibee Burger Steak is eaten with white rice, not mashed potato. And sadly, they don’t sell Chicken Dippers here. Also, their Peach Mango Pie here is so small, like half the size of the one you had.
It is so nice that you like most of the Jollibee menu... But then I remember that in Clevver you usually like foods that other cast don't, mostly the weird ones. Hehe
I love you even more for loving something Filipino. We get a lot of flack for some of the weirder things we eat (aka balut), hence, all the Filipino love in the comments.
The jollibee pasta used to have spam in it 10 years ago. But they removed it. The taste before was much better and I honeslty prefer mcdonald spaghetti compared to jollibee's. Most of the people I know here is that filipinos preferred Chicken, burger steak in jollibee and spaghetti and fries in mcdonalds
Sign the petition: Require every Jollibee staffs to please remind ALL FOREIGNERS to mix halo-halo before eating it.😂😂😂
