I enjoy the hell out of this band.
Sometimes people forget music can be just for fun too, it doesn't have to be a serious artistic creation. These guys make fun and catchy music.

Bei allem Respekt Sushi gegenüber, Nico ist das Beste, was Electric Callboy passieren konnte! Ich mag ihr altes Zeug, aber ich ich liebe ihr neues und die Bühnenshow ist 1000% geiler!
Absolut richtig. Nico singt die "alten" Songs unfassbar gut, und alles, was die Jungs seit seinem Einstieg rausgehauen haben, ist mega. Er harmoniert auch viel besser mit Kevin.

@@shedive14 Das kann ich nicht beurteilen, ich habe ihn nie live gesehen. Aber wenn ich mir anhöre, was Ghost Kid so machen, dann bin ich froh, daß seine Einflüsse aus Electric Callboy raus sind. Und wie schon gesagt, Nico singt bis zum Ende der Show unfassbar gut, und daß Kevin für mein Empfinden mehr in den Vordergrund gerückt ist, finde ich auch super. Irgendwie stand er früher eher hinter Sushi, jetzt stehen Nico und Kevin nebeneinander.

Yup. Germany and japan have some seriously underrated metal acts that are so unique in their respective genres. The Fear and loathing in Las Vegas band from japan & Eskimo (electric) callboy from Germany came out at the same time and I’ve been rockin with them both the same ever since!!!:)
An alle die es haten, guckt mal in die Crowd vor der Bühne, denen gefällts. Wenns euch nicht gefällt dann kommt einfach nicht her. Hate ist so unnötig!

xXCyberskrillXx 18 Ich hab sie selbst auf der the scene Tour live gesehen und muss sagen, dass ich den Auftritt derbe gefeiert hab. Persönlich mag ich die Musik sehr, höre aber auch so ziemlich alles andere im Metal, also auch Pantera, Motörhead, Dragonforce, Slipknot etc.. Zu der Fan Thematik : ja, es sind Fans, aber auch wenn man kein Fan is, braucht mans ja nicht haten. Es is ja kein Schlager XD
Dragonforce kommt nächstes Jahr aufs RHZ 😍

Sushi ist halt Sushi und hat die Band sicher maßgeblich mitgeprägt, aber mit Nico hört es sich einfach besser an. So geil wie Nicos und Kevins Stimmen harmonieren. Wacken, wann Electric Callboy mal wieder?
I heard of these guys back in the day but never heard them. They are fucking bad ass, they have so many good songs.

Yeah, they have good old stuff tho, some of the songs from the album Crystals can sound really better with Nico on the cleans, like Pitch Blease or My Own Summer. I think they need a better sound enginneer for shows too.

Nico definitely sounds better than sushi, sushi provided a lot to making old Eskimo callboy Eskimo callboy but Nico is a much better singer especially live

Schlechte Aufnahme, da kommt Null rüber wie geil diese Band tatsächlich live ist!
Naja außer das schlagzeug das ist echt gut aufgenommen
Die Kamera hinter dem schlagzeug ist echt scheiße
Ich finde den Mix relativ gut. Ein Wenig zu wenig tiefen. Aber finde in dieser Aufnahme einfach die vocal Leistung schwach. Sushis Ränge war Mal breiter. In der Hook von best day hatte er echt zu kämpfen

Man hört nur das Schlagzeug, der rest ist zu leise, vor allem die vocals sind kaum zu hören. Und das auf'm wacken. Schon traurig.
Ich war live dabei und hab mich auch mehrmals gesehen(grüner parka im kleinem schlammloch)
Das war und ist definitiv das highlight in dem jahr

Die drums sind toll mikrofoniert, aber ich glaub der FoHler hat beim out für die Aufnahme bissl geschlafen, klingt als wäre es der Monitor weg für Gitarre oder Sänger gewesen (leises Gesamtbild und laute drums für den Rhythmus)

In reality he was never that good, they tuned his voice a lot in the studio albums and then he did what he could live, it is also happening now as Ghostkid but the songs are amazing anyway
as there is little content from this band on the internet, there should be more shows recorded mainly from the time of Sebastian like in 2015 when this band was taking crowds since he is no longer the vocalist at least so fans will have a video memory to remember this such an epic time.🤔😘🤪😝😐🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤩

The original singer Sebastian Biesler left the band on 2020 and got replaced by Nico and the band looks like changes their genre with the new singer
They started going into this kind of comercial metalcore with "The Scene", also creating MC Thunder, precursor of the gimmick songs like Pump It, Hypa Hypa, We Got The Moves, and so on. Then "Rehab" album happened, where they went a step further with that soft/commercial metalcore, obviously nobody in the band wanted to go that way but maybe they never talked about it or whatever, so Sushi, the lead singer, left, creating Ghostkid and trying to sound as he did back in Crystals. Eskimo Callboy got "To the Rats and Wolves" lead singer Nico and went back into that vibe "The Scene" got with songs MC Thunder II and Hypa Hypa, but also remaking some of the first ever songs like Dramaqueen. Their "Tekkno" album is like the next step they probably should've gone instead of "Rehab", still making the party, goofy stuff like We Got The Moves or Tekkno Train, but also keeping some more serious, darker songs as they did in "Crystals" like Mindreader or Parasite. Also, they realised as they went international that the name Eskimo was basically racist and became self conscious about the lyrics of some old songs like Is Anyone Up, We Are The Mess or Dramaqueen, so they changed name and stopped making songs calling women "bitches, whores" and so on, that's why they look and sound so different depending on the album you are listening to

Ich liebe die Band, aber Live hören die sich mit den Growls zusammen sind die kaum Synchron mit der Musik, die Stimmen passen halt nie dazu, trotzdem würde ich weil ich die Band mag mal dahin gehen :D Hört euch auf zu beschweren:)

Hab die noch nie live gesehen, die clean parts sind naja echt ned so geil.... Die scream parts hingegen sind hammer.... Im gesamten aber leider nicht so geil wie die Studio Versionen... Mag die Band dennoch
Kein hate, aber wenn man auf einer Bühne performed, gehört Kritik nun mal dazu!
Sie werden besser, aber die Band hat definitiv live-Probleme. Das hat mit der Aufnahme nix zu tun, sondern mit der Wiedergabe. Bei Babymetal ists laut Fans auch immer die Aufnahme.
Ne, die klingen so ohne aufwendigste Afterproduction vom eigenen Studio.
Ich meine nicht live Probleme im Sinne von schlecht sein und nicht fetzen. Zu einem guten Konzert gehören dutzende Faktoren.
Ich denke die Musik ist auch einfach schwierig, live so auf die Bühne zu bringen. Die production quality im Studio ist extrem hoch und das ganze feintuning bekommt man nicht umgesetzt, wenn man große Hallen oder Felder beschallt.

Schade, dass die so schlecht abgenommen ist. Die Aufnahme ist echt flach. Die Tieftöne sind komplett raus gedreht und die Becken vom Schlagzeuger klingen, als würde er auf ein Nudelsieb eindreschen. Hoffentlich war es live besser. Die Crowd wirkt schon mal so. ;)
