- Where Computational Art meets Minecraft!
I'm venturing into the realm of 3D parametric art which I think pairs nicely when rendered in Minecraft using my algorithmic timelapse tool. I find some of these clips highly satisfying- sometimes beautiful, and I hope that's conveyed in the video. I haven't seen anyone create these kinds of things in Minecraft before, so it felt like a novel idea. I'm excited to continue down this path to see where it leads...

I’m going to try some videos like this for a bit, BUT I’m still creating the traditional-style builds and timelapses. They just take a lot more time.
I hope you enjoy this style of video in the meantime! Please share any thoughts, good or bad:)
I have bad thoughts
and people think math is boring. The language of the interplay between chaos and pattern can paint such beauty, it is literally infinite. Thank you for sharing what you discover on your expedition and the time you put into documenting it so nicely
Mesmerizing!
yo! I've just got a sick idea! if you have watched The Last of US series, u see in the intro they have shown the fungi spreading in such manner that is shown in this video! maybe next time u can try that!
Yes! Such a great show- I love that idea. Might even be fun to have a city and watch it become overgrown with vines and moss and things. Thanks for the idea ‼️
@@SludaBuilds oh that's even more epic dude!!
Honestly, the only thing that could elevate this would be Light Painter or something similar. Gives me some serious No Man's Sky vibes! Incredible work, seriously awaiting the next upload!
Thank you for commenting ! I’ve seen other creators like ChrisDaCow use a light painter before but I’ve never really looked into it. So maybe now is the time because I agree, that would add a lot to these builds.
Your videos are mesmerizing! Love it, its like art being made live.
Thank you 💛
Hi Sluda,
I like seeing you coming back to your origin and basis 😀 Looking forward for next builds like so.
I was thinking to bring you back to this type of geometrical/procedural builds.
2 ideas that I have in mind are the following:
1. adding some life on an infinite Moebus ribbon world
2. creating something based on fractal art
Thank you so much for the support. And how do you always have such great ideas no matter what kind of video I post ?! I’ve actually been planning some fractal art so you’re dead on with that suggestion. But a mobius strip inspired build would be fascinating- I’ll have to think about that one a bit…
You always amaze me with your builds and how video is made (flow of the video, editing and background music).
I appreciate that ! I actually really enjoy putting the background music together, Epidemic Sound has a huge library
Just curious, will you be making a video or something that shows us how you go about building these. whether it’s a program or a serger way you think about it?
I likely will at some point since a lot of people are curious. Maybe like a behind the scenes type of video
I like the black abyss background, it relates to my life the most
You should seek help
I could only imagine what these would look like inside a fractal pattern. 😵💫🔥
These builds are so cool! Idk how you build them in the order you do.
Thank you! I’m planning to give a behind the scenes in the near future
@@SludaBuilds that would be awesome 👍
2:05 Missing a block, right?
🤫shh you saw nothing
I love your building style bro
Thanks you kindly!
❤
How many headaches did you get while making these?
3 headaches and vomited twice
Is this rendering or do you have any map downloads available?
I have some available for download on my patreon but none of algorithmic-style builds are available at the moment.
are there any world downloads we could obtain?
I think I'll make my next video like this available for download. But it might look a lot different since Im using shaders that make the sky black
If you didnt build it by hand how is every blocks being placed in this video then
I use a grasshopper script I made along with Minecraft functions to render it out this way. I’ll be sharing a behind-the-scenes video soon
you pay $600 a month for rhino 3D?????????
I use an old version of rhino that I got in architecture school. Rhino doesn’t have monthly fees
@@SludaBuilds man that’s really cool. Wish I did architecture. Was it difficult? Did it in college? Should I go to college?
It’s never too late! The architecture profession is a lot more problem-solving and less design freedom than most people think. But if you are passionate about something, you should give it a try!
