Worst questions ever. This interviewer is like the annoying guy next to the bathroom hallway just asking and asking and asking, and hey man look I got to go get a drink...
She always seems so cold and aloof to me. Thankfully she showed emotion in the film. Casey seems somewhat disinterested here. I agree, the questions were dull.
A lot of people say that of her. Should read this article: www.nytimes.com/2013/08/22/t-magazine/this-is-rooney-mara.html Its so weird how quiet can come off as bitchy. smh
There's no need to be so defensive. You're the one who used the B-word. And obviously it's the impression she likes to convey, as your article covers. "Aloof, icy, playful, curious, remote, opaque, funny, shy, distant, nice, impenetrable, guarded, unreadable. Rooney Mara happens to be all of these things."
sorry, I didn't mean to sound defensive. It's hard to convey tone. I just saying it matter-of-fact-ly. It's also a great article/interview about/with her.
He is a brilliant actor. You need to see Gone Baby Gone, Ocean's Trilogy and The Assassination of Jesse James. Amazing films
Love Rooney
Mara is great in this movie I'm surprised she didn't get any awards attention.
They're starring together again in an upcoming movie "A Ghost Story". It's going to be released on July 7, 2017. Definitely waiting to check it out!
Rooney mara and Casey Affleck are the best!!
Lucrezia & Pierotto's Love Theme yass
She reminds me of myself, quiet, placid and somewhat reclusive but at the same time when she's in her moment she's fantastic
if you were a bar of chocolate - you would eat yourself.
I loves me some Casey Affleck :)
I've never even heard of the film. I'm going to check it out.
You got her name the wrong way around, it's Rooney Mara
Sadly, Cannes is a place of junkets, not DP/30s... so we will try to make longer form interviews work in the months to come.
It’s cool that Casey has been good friends with Joaquin Pheonix for a while and now Rooney is engaged to him
Casey was married to Joaquins sister. They ended up divorcing. Joaquin hasn’t spoken to Casey in years
@@tatum2739 Ik but they have matching tattoos and stuff so they have been very good mates

are the full versions of interviews coming?
Mara Rooney's personality makes me want to stop someone.. preferably her. so glad with the ending of Side Effects.
shmeltedface your personality isnt much better (in fact it's infinitely worse)
Hopefully the movie goes wide...
I try not to leave negative comments but this interviewer :/ not great. Maybe he was just ill prepared for this one..
He called Casey Ben! hahaha how embarrassing, even Rooney tried to help Poland.
called him ben jfl
Is too cringy to carry on I feel sorry for actors who have to do these mundane, stupid sit downs with guy's like this fella. Ugh !
Noo you finally have a Rooney interview and it's only 8 minutes long and with some guy that has a brother who knows Matt Damon.
You mean Casey? He has a name. And he's awesome. 😎
+ « She's The Best , He's Sucks !!!!! »
100% X3
for real? LetmegetyoNUMBAgiirrrrllllll
The interviewer is very amateurish.... ffs
