The best! She was the best! If I had been old enough when it was on the air originally, all my fan mail would've been POSITIVE and HAPPY! Go Jane Wyman, Go Angela Channing!!!!
That was the best interview with Jane Wyman I've ever seen ...... even if I'm seeing it 30 years after the fact! What a gracious, down-to-earth, sincere lady ..... and probably the greatest actress to ever appear on movie & TV screens. Oscar nominated for "The Yearling" and then a winner for "Johnny Belinda." Nominated again for "The Blue Veil" but lost to Vivian Leigh's mannered, affected performance in "A Streetcar Named Desire." (My happiest memory ... Wyman BEAT Leigh for a Golden Globe!) NOT nominated for perhaps her best role, in "So Big," but nominated again for "Magnificent Obsession." And she ruled the decade of the 80's in the world of television (as Angela Channing in "Falcon Crest") just as her ex-husband ruled that decade in politics (as President of the United States, no less!)
I wish they would do a serious reboot of Falcon Crest, I think it would be a huge hit. Dallas canceled out of nowhere & the Dynasty reboot is a complete joke. We need you Falcon Crest !
The fabulous Jane Wyman, so gracious! I still remember the anti-Reagan bumper stickers that read "Jane Wyman was right!" I'm sure the subject of the Reagan administration, which was in power at the time of this interview, was completely off-limits, but oh, how I would love to hear what the plain-speaking Jane would have said about him and Nancy.
+Rafael Storm : Jane Wyman in her own words... 1968: "I've always been a registered Republican. But it's bad taste to talk about former husbands and former wives, that's all. Also, I don't know a damn thing about politics." 2004: "America has lost a great president and a great, kind, and gentle man."
Bryan Criddic Also in her own words, she frequently told this" great, kind, gentle man": "Oh, Ronnie, go shit in your hat." And her most famous quote about him is "If you ask Ronnie what time it is, he'll tell you how his watch works."
@@Lisa-di1wi It might be a good idea if you will read her Bio-IMDb. He was married twice before Ronald Reagan, her third husband. Wyman's marriage to Ronald Reagan was the only longest marriage she's had .. 9 years. The other husbands before and after Ronald Reagan lasted 4 years, 2 years, 1 year and 2 years, respectively. I believe that Ronald Reagan found a true and happy married life with Nancy Reagan. I also believe that Nancy Reagan loved Ronald Reagan dearly.
THEY GOT JANE WYMAN CONFUSED WITH JANE WYATT ! what a shame , as both have/had such great credentials ! but the music played from the masterpiece ' lost horizon ' is Jane Wyatt's and the sweet music that should have been played from ' Johnny Belinda ' wasn't !

Great interview!!!!!
Jane Wyman ruled!
Frederick Thomas Jr belinda filme
Wow the great legendary Jean Wyman would be 107 this year.
She was 72 years old in this interview.
She was born in 1914)
wow that's amazing - I thought she was maybe 67 ? she looks great here
Smoked like a freight train until her death.
I liked her in the "Lost Weekend" with Ray Milland. A beautiful lady.
Classy lady!
She was an amazing lady. She sings a duet with Bing Crosby entitled "In the Cool, Cool, Cool of the Evening."
RIP Gary Collins.
I wish they would do a serious reboot of Falcon Crest, I think it would be a huge hit.
Dallas canceled out of nowhere & the Dynasty reboot is a complete joke.
We need you Falcon Crest !
indiana hoosier There was talks about it right before Dallas got canceled but once it got canceled the plans for a Falcon Crest reboot got scrapped
@@FamilyGuy770 With Jane Wyman gone, I don't think it would have ever worked.
I’d rather not touch it. The first 3 seasons were perfection.
Eloquent woman ..Funny , you can see through the screen a person's ways ..This is a nice lady.
Gary Collins was a contestant on the October 13, 2012 episode of Celebrity Bucket Kickers.

+Rafael Storm Despite the end of their marriage, Jane Wyman actually supported Reagan for president.

I don't know why Ronald Reagan and Jane Wyman split up. I wonder when he met Nancy.

A true lady
@dramaticguy Aw that's right. He is gone now too! I watched his show whenever I didn't go to school.
As a real person.........she was sweet. A perfect grand person
I don’t know. Many costars on FC have claimed she was an amazing bitch in real life.
Much more than Ronald Reagan's second wife.
Amusing that they played music from “Lost Horizon” during her introduction - did someone on the show confuse her with Jane WYATT..??
Was married to Ronald Reagan and dated the Joker on Falcon Crest...
I got to see Jane's real laugh. Kinda like a girl's laugh!
Jane should have accepted those lesbian roles, I think she would have looked good in flannel

That’s well spotted. Jane was probably thinking “I don’t recognise that theme!”
11:31, you mean she WASN'T lebanese?

Game of Thrones copied Angela Channing with Olenna Tyrell.
Ah Yes! Ronald Reagan's first wife. Ronald Reagan was the first divorced President. Donald Trump is now the second divorced President.
Whats that got to do with anything ... Should I say Bill Clinton was the first Rapist President .... IS that how you think...Don't start it!
Playing lesbians???
