Sir, last year during a long drive, my Chevrolet Beat's (Petrol) front driving side brake caliper got seized. That wheel became so hot, the wheel cap fell somewhere on road...I felt that brake is not applying and the car is not taking speed...so I drove in first or second gear to search for a garage...then I noticed that the wheel became so hot it releases smoke. I stopped and poured a lot of water to cool down the wheel. The mechanic came and said that due to rain the brake caliper is seized. He found some rust on the caliper, he sanded it, and then fits it again. I was saved that day. I am still using that brake caliper.... though I fear that the rust may come again...but Beat's brake caliper costs around Rs 10k.... it's too costly After I came home, my local mechanic inspected that brake caliper, and said that, I can use it for atleast another 2/3 years...no need to change....but I'm afraid after that incident. Please advise.

Technical Gyan, It may look funny to read but may you perform a small experiment for us! While changing engine oil in any car (bigger engine like SUMO Gold will be preferred), after draining the oil from sump & removing the old oil filter, can we do one thing? Fix the non-power axle (by putting stone near wheels), now release the hand brake, put the vehicle in top gear (engine is off), lift any one of drive axle wheel and rotate it by hand. Isn’t this activity will spit out the bad oil remained in engine passages? My MDI3200 engine needs only 6.0 ltr oil for change whereas company manual says 7.0 ltr required. It means 1 ltr old oil left in engine. Thank You Alok Jaipur (Rajasthan)

Sir baleno 2021 model petrol tank me pressure ban raha h. Solution please. Check purge valve open and close when we give 12v supply. But no pressure in purge valve pipe line. And when we open gas tank cap pressure releases.

Brake oil is not an oil friend. It is a high density glycol ether.
Sir ji kwid ke liye best engine oil bataye gaadi mein cng lagi hai 800 cc hai or spaark plug bhi bataye karnal haryana
Kabhi kabhi AC on hota h to brake pure nahi lagte, mostly on hills, pr AC off krte h fir se normal ho jata hai , aisa kyo hota hai.
Sir gaadi AC on karne par vibrate and humming noise kar rahi hai. Uske baad agar AC off kar do to bhi vibration bani rehti hai..
