Everyone's saying that this is the story of "gifted kid/child actor turned failure" which might not be wrong. But judging by the apology video and everyone leaving him, he got in some sort of controversy and had to quit whatever he was doing. Now he's desperately chasing the same fame he once had before whatever happened did happen.
keep in mind he was a baby at the time. he couldn't even formulate a proper response without bawling. whatever happened was something he either had no clue was wrong or was outright out of his control
IDK why but the “Baby Dingle, we like you!” line gets me in particular. He’s become so dependent on others’ views of him that he doesn’t even want to be _loved_; even the slightest indicator of affection will be enough for him.

He is still trying to restore his fame, but doesn't suceed. It's pretty sad to see him drinking in a bar, probably thinking about how he could fall like that...

0:45 is actually surprisingly chilling, I think the artist intended it as an eviction notice, but on first watch I thought it was a motel and they were notifying him that he wasn't to be treating it as a house

He was dragged into a depressive cycle of drinking and rewatching his glory days, so upset that he even kept plushies of himself. The chiptune he made was his second attempt at making everyone love him again, only for the flaws of his work to be pointed out to him. He saw criticism as hate, and became furious. Who knows when he'll start killing people? 20 people were found dead, *could this have been Dinkle's doing, his revenge on the world that had rejected him?*

okay so basically dinkle was a child celebrity showered with love and eventually it came crashing down as he aged, nobody cared abt him anymore, and he showers himself with memories of his childhood and is now a drunk damn
this video filled me with dread since it was released, even haunting me while doing dishes at work, until i thought about dinkle seeing all the ppl who love him now. i made up a whole story in my head about dinkle improving his life with the support of the ppl who love him now and it helped me not feel horrible after watching this lol
I feel that behind these little creatures there's an entire rabbit hole on why they even exist and not just funny characters that look silly and cute, and this video just makes that idea more true

if Dingle could pull himself together and look back to his past and what he did right as a child and improve to become an even cuter popular and better version of his childhood self, he can truly reclaim his golden years and create an even better era of life for himself without the arrogance and ego of his childhood self so he wont repeat his mistakes again ,but sadly he is stuck in the past of nostalgia without actually trying to understand why he was so great in the first place ,so he is permanently this sad old man never to become of what he once was
That final part of the song is mostly major but it somehow feels so tragic when you learn the context. I develop a pit in my stomach every time i hear it. Astounding work.
I think dingle killed the black and white dingle, the same b&w dingle falling when they are walking, it appearing at the last few seconds of the house scene surrounded by darkness with dilated pupils, both point to something happening to it. just guessing tho
