*INSANE* Kelp Farm for Minecraft Bedrock

- In today's video I give you a short and simple tutorial on how to construct your very own zero-tick kelp farm. This works only in Minecraft Bedrock edition, so do not try to build on java. This will produce 96,000 kelp per hour, and works using a 'feature' of the game for a long time with minute changes to how it works.

Fuzzydragooooon never fails to fill my kelp with his bone meal
Ok this doesn’t even make sense anymore
Incredible, I thought zero tick farms didn't work in bedrock anymore, legend
Haha thanks man! I try to put out the best farms I can make!
Fuzy never fails to fill me with these vide
Let’s gooo 🙌
@@FuzzyDragooooon just realized the mistakes I made in the comment
Nah it was pefrect
U earned a sub
Thanks mate!
Edit: (I think you were the 400th)
@@FuzzyDragooooon well then do remember me ;)
Ill never forget
Did you download the texture pack for the chunk borders, or was that through the marketplace? I’ve searched up several different chunk border texture packs but most aren’t that great. Would love to see if you had a download link for it (it there is one).
I downloaded mine like so many years ago id have to look up a tutorial again, ill see if i find one and post it on ny discord server if i do
Hey man! Awesome tutorial. My farm stops producing kelp after a few seconds though, nothings breaking, the kelp just isn’t growing for some reason. Any ideas?
I immediately realized I forgot a redstone torch… great farm it works flawlessly now 😂
Haha awesome!
@@FuzzyDragooooon I might have had the same issue, but my farm doesn't grow more than a few leaves of kelp when it is operating. The pistons all fire and it is all within a chunk border.
Not sure what the cause is there, any more details?
Thanks! Is it normal that the torches always burn out?
Not sure which torch you’re talking about but if they do you can add 2 more so they wont all burn at once
Imagine 1.21 hits.
We get auto crafters.
We cant auto craft emeralds into emerald blocks with an AFK raid farm.
Our mob farms stop working due to the change in mob spawning location.
0 tick farms stop working and we cant automatically use it for making kelp blocks fpr fuel source.
Maybe they also stop nether portal based gold farms also?
😢
Ikr dude they broke all the glitches but that means more content for me lmao 😂
For some reason I followed the directions and the last two pistons on each side on the top level weren't firing. So, a block wouldn't do so I used two repeaters to extend the signal.
It should be just enough signal strength to power a block at the end, but if your method works too thats great! 😊
I tried with repeaters, and it seems to tick too fast to glitch the kelp?
Yes, the redstone for this farm is very precise and needs to be built exactly how I have it due to the nature of zero ticking. Also it’s probably going to break in the next update ☠️
What's the bonemeal out put for this if you don't mind me asking.
Idk but if it makes 96,000 kelp per hour and if one bonemeal is 23.33 kelp, you would make around 4114 bonemeal an hour🫶
@@FuzzyDragooooon thanks
Np
Saving this one for 1.21. If it still works when I can autocraft kelp blocks, I'll definitely be building it
Ikr! I really hope it doesn’t break but I cant promise anything other than Ill try and find a new design if it does
I have no idea where the error lies, but no matter how much I rebuild it, how many times I take it apart and rebuild it, change it or whatever, it just won't work. Either the sand despawns, falls down, the kelp doesn't stay on the sand, or the redstone clock doesn't work at all. Unfortunately, I don't hear the typical noise, just knocking. Help... I play on version 1.20.71 Bedrock
Hmm im not at all sure why this farm seems to be degrading but i need to revisit it. Come join my discord server and itll have updates on stuff like this and you can talk to me and other people who can help you 😃

Woooooooooow were you been dude
Designing banger farms
I see banger farms you say
This is a banger
Gotchu there
Just built it worked fine and then started to break after every 2-3 stacks of bonemeal
I’ve heard people say this, I honestly dont even know why this happens, I ran it overnight and it worked fine, maybe your bed is too close to the farm? Try sleeping a few chunks further away form jt
@@FuzzyDragooooon it was breaking because of mobs (hostile or not) if any mob enters the chunk it breaks
Glad to know that, thanks!
Could you explain how this works and how you found this out
So really simply it works by random ticking the kelp, which is what makes it grow. A lot of plants in the game work off of random ticks which are basically random game events that cause them to have a state change, and kelp only has one growth stage per block grown, so random ticking it grows it instantly. By moving the sand in a very particular way it makes the game think that the kelp has updated, forcing it to grow. I discovered this design by modifying old broken designs until I ran across this which worked, and scaled it up 👌😃
Thank you so much ,but I have one more question
@@FuzzyDragooooon why is it that the kelp wont go above 2 blocks
Kelp grows from the highest block, so you would have to zero tick the block above too somehow
@@FuzzyDragooooon ohhhhh thank you
Fuzzy I built it and as others my farm also broke and I figured out why it break everytime
Yeah? Care to share with the class?
@@FuzzyDragooooon sure so basically the chunk is 16×16 but the isnt 16×16 as its 9 blocks for redstone 1 extra to block water and 8 more for the composters so its 18 in total even if we dont count the restone so basically whenever the kelp flows to the hopper which is not in the chunk of the farm it breaks
@@FuzzyDragooooon fuzzy I guess I figured out how to fix it and the real problem except the chunk one but I need your help if you have discord can we dm there or ima put mine if you want to
Are you sure it’s the hopper?
If you put your dm that would be better so I don’t get spammed
Do kelps just grow that fast?
Uh, no lmao. This is a zero tick farm which causes it to grow that fast
doesnt work in 1.21 experimental either that or cause im on a realm
Dang bro, maybe its just bc experimental. Still hoping
@@FuzzyDragooooon its a shame cause crafter is so fun
Fr man i was hoping op fuel farm w crafters
But why? What am I missing? Why do you need so much bonemeal?
Tree farms mainly, but kelp can be smelted and autocrafted into blocks for infinite fuel in the new 1.21 update!! Very excited for that one
@@FuzzyDragooooon I am not too familiar with the ins and outs of mine craft. Do you need to start a new world to get the updates?
Currently I use a tree smelter to make fuel but that still involves cutting trees. If I could automate kelp into fuel it would be nice.
The updates will happen automatically on bedrock edition, the one in which this farm is built for, so you won’t need to worry about updating anything. Autocrafters are a new block coming out in a month or so when the 1.21 trial chambers update drops
I know this farm works but it's not i am getting white particle from the piston any idea how to fix this??
Not sure what you mean, could you give me a bit more detail on what exactly isn’t working?
I got it to work but sand always falls and water break the redstone and I have built it inside a chunk not on the border
Is it every piece of sand or just one or two? This is caused 95% of the time from being built on a chunk border, so I would really double check it
Ya every sand one by one and no I have built it 3 blocks inside a chunk basically it's not even on the edge of the chunks
That is very odd, there is one other possibility and that is that you’re either A) missing the redstone torch underneath, or B) building within like 50 blocks of 0, 0
Hello, very nice farm. But with me the sand always falls away after a few minutes, then it no longer works. What can I do?
This means either you have this farm built on a chunk border, or the redstone is on top of the pistons or something similar; so I would first double check your chunk borders then double check the redstone. Hope this helps! ❤️
@@FuzzyDragooooon Oky thanks for the answer. Is there a help with which you can get the chunks displayed on the PS5?
I don’t think there is a texture pack accessible on ps, but you can use coordinates to calculate the chunk borders, which I did in a video on a sand duper much in depth.
