Can anyone tell what is the thing that attached to the wing end?
Winglets or sharlets, it is there to reduce the drag caused from high pressure air in lower surface meeting low pressure air in the upper surface.
Is Nacelle a engine cover?
Yes it is!
Are these things the so-called vortex generator?
Their function is same as vortex generators but these are called as strakes!
The F18 - a bit simplistic there buddy .They do a way lot more than that...
