Crockpot Express Ham and Bean Soup Recipe
I give a little overview of my 6 quart Crockpot Express. It's one of my must have go to kitchen appliances that I'll keep using until we have to go back to cooking over campfires again! This soup was ok for quick whipping something together, but no ham and bean soup can be at its best without HAM HOCKS. My mom makes this soup with HAM HOCKS, and it's good enough for your last meal. I have a hard time finding ham hocks sometimes, so a ham bone will work good, but not as good as the HAM HOCKS. Ham ALONE will not flavor your soup good enough. At the very least you need a ham bone in there, or some fresh HAM HOCKS for best flavor. Trust me I learned this from my mom!
