Not to be a hater, but I've played violin for 10 years and I can tell you that good violinists do not tune their violins like that, at all. They use longer bow strokes so you can better hear the note. Nobody does the rapid bow change tuning thing, that's usually used by intermediate violinists who are trying to sound cool. Tuning is an extremely refined and important process, and must be done with good sound and sustained bow (not necessarily at high volume, but it has to be a consistent sound or else it'd be impossible to tune). That said he's not a bad violinist at all, not amazing, but definitely more than good enough to play something like this. His style of playing and tuning is more of a social commentary on idolism in South Korea rather than a discussion about violin technique, since much of the "emotion" and all of the slides he does are extraneous and often frowned upon in the classical music world (not because some sort of elitist culture but because its pseudo-emotion). A real professional musician elicits emotion in their music through nuanced technique and musical creativity- not through body movement and "sexy" slides.

You do realize that if someone didn't record this then you wouldn't be able to hear/see it right? Recording with phones makes it so the moment lasts longer than just the moment. Memory is a fickle thing. (If that was sarcasm please disregard)
WOW!!! His precise touch, ear, sensitivity, and gracefulness is unbelievable! An extremely blessed, and gifted kid. Too bad the record business doesn’t want real musicians! I've been in the music business for 40 years, and I know for a fact, that if a musician like him wants to become famous, that he's gonna fall into politics, whether he wants to or not, because I am a musician like him, a pianist, and the industry has changed. 10% real musicians, and the rest is samples of pre recorded music by people like us, who actually performed the music. It’s amazing how passionate he is, he had his eyes closed for almost the entire performance and he was just so engrossed in the music. Even though he made a couple of mistakes, I though he played amazing and really connected with the song!

@@aether5052 Dude, I'm gonna say this, but I'm not gonna go back and forth with u. I LOVE his music. I've been in the music business for 40 years, and I know for a fact, that if a musician like him wants to become famous, that he's gonna fall into politics, whether he wants to or not, because I am a musician like him, a pianist, and the industry has changed. 10% real musicians, and the rest is samples of pre recorded music by people like us, who actually performed the music. I'm just saying it's a shame for people like he and I, who are true musicians to the core. So I just wanna make it clear that I'm not trying to start an argument. Maybe u need to go back and read what I wrote. No disrespect to u either, by the way. Peace and love.

でもあまり関わらないほうが良いのは事実です。特に仕事上のやり取り。
やれると言ったことはやらないことが多く、口から出るのは言い訳ばかり。挙げ句の果には自分の日をこちらに押し付け、グチグチグチグチ文句を言う始末。
高校のときの韓国人のクラスメイトはいっっつも金の話か自慢話。周りの人を関わるのを嫌がり、そいつが窓ガラスを割って停学処分を受けたことも。。
私の他にも韓国の方と仕事でお付き合いする人がいます。その方も韓国人に対して感じることはほぼ同じのようです。
韓国人と関わった日本人は、韓国人を嫌いになるのか？
そう考えた私は、動画も調べてみました。
相当数な人が同意見のようです。
あんなに被害者意識の強い民族と関わってると、嫌になるってのは本当の話です。
お願いだから、深く関わるのはやめてください。関われば関わるほどイライラしてくるし、疲れるから。

삑나는 것 보다 E현 휘슬이고.. 줄 수명이 다 되면 누구라도 저렇게 날 수 있어요.. 지직거리는 소리가 조금씩 들리는데 현 수명이 다되었을것 같아요.. 엄청 잘하시는 거에요.. 완전 멋짐... 30대 남자도 반하고 갑니드아~^^

The song sounded great even though it was just one violin. Great job!
It’s amazing how passionate he is, he had his eyes closed for almost the entire performance and he was just so engrossed in the music. Even though he made a couple of mistakes, I though he played amazing and really connected with the song!
