    man fuck the injuries! If Roy and Oden weren't so injury prone,the blazers would've been a scary team

      +DereMemo The thing is, Blazers have gotten Lillard from the Nets's 2012 draft pick, which they had by trading Gerald Wallace, but they might not have gone for Wallace if Roy had still been healthy at the time (they acquired him in 2011, when Roy was already nearing the end of his Blazers's carrer), so there is no way to know if they would have had him...

    • @ThrashAnDash
      @ThrashAnDash 7 лет назад +6

      Ali escheik the fouls on roy in and most other players when they have that many free throws it's because teams can't stop them so they choose to foul them instead, harden initiates almost all of his fouls

    Maaan I always get super sad when I watch his highlights, would've beeen best SG right now and one of the best all time. Brandon Roy was built for startdom, had the size, skill set, high izq, was clutch and even was athletic just didn't rely on it and used his energy wisely. Such a package set up for greatness if it wasn't for injuries 😪. Once in a while I go back and dream of Greg Oden, LaMarcus Aldridge, and Brandon Roy staying healthy and reaching their full potential. The buzz was real in Portland, we had reporters in the middle of writing books about the "big 3" because we were sure we were gonna win rings. Ended up falling apart..

      TheRealMVP His efficiency was so much better than both of those guys. Plus he never even got a chance to enter his prime, we'll never know what Roy's ceiling could have been.

      TheRealMVP yeah he would have. kobe said himself that he was his toughest player to guard when he was playing in the NBA

      Caleb Davis Neat! He wouldn't have surpassed fucking Wade or Kobe. Not a chance.

      TheRealMVP you do know kobe and dwade was on the decline when roy was peaking his prime right? I'm not speaking on overall career stats. I'm talking about the impact he had in the NBA at the time. Wade hasn't been the same since his injuries so you can cut that out. the ring he got with shaq he play like a true champion. the rest came easy when they start forming super teams. now I will say he wouldn't be better than kobe but once again without shaq to pick up the pieces as he was developing his game he would have never got 5 rings. shaq just made the game easier for any guard that was his teammate cause he was a dominant rebounder and defender. all I'm saying is roy was just as an elite as kobe and wade cause they both couldn't guard him vice versa. it just came down to who had the better team
