An impressive masterpiece of a horn. Let's hear some jazz on this horn; Dizzy Gillespie or Maynard Feguson would have loved it or junked it. Nice that you can lay the top bell over your shoulder like a saxhorn.
I had mine modified from a regular trumpet-I’m not sure anyone sells a double-bell horn as a production model so it would probably have to be custom ordered. I know Hub Van Laar has built a decent number of them, and Schagerl is prototyping one now as well.
Would using a different not head for the double bell also work? I feel like in the examples you used it was quite jaring to look at the Staves in the faster section.
I think that could work, or some sort of symbol like the +/o for Harmon mute - just depends what other noteheads/symbols are being used in the piece to make sure it's extremely clear what's happening when!
This is amazing. It must be incredibly satisfying to play.
just as beautiful as the airsounds
man you don't know how much you helped me with this video!!!! Thank you so much!

@@connorjohnsontrumpet Double bell trumpets are sold on DH Gate.
I wish instruments with double-bells were more common.
Who did the custom work on your horn? What company or person made the modifications?
Super cool horn!
Does anyone know if there is a video of someone playing the trumpet with 13 bells?
What diameter is the rotary valve on the tuning slide ?
