God, I remember having these. Every time my kindergarten teacher didn't stamp me with a star for a "good job", I'd go home, stamp myself and pretend like I got it from the teacher. Fun times.
"I can't imagine as a kid, you'd want a question mark..." That question mark happens to be the PERFECT font and color for the pattern on the Riddler's costume. Batfans rejoice!
They're quite useful if you're a teacher grading work as well. My mother used to buy supplies like these markers to use. I suppose it's a way of adding some creativity to an otherwise incredibly boring task.
I also belive they are thought to be used in school, not so much making art at home. Imagine having notes and then just stamping the questions mark at the end. Kind of cool for an elementary student if you ask me
As an Artist who no longer experiments with “cheap” supplies I believe that you have shown us once again that it is the Artist, Not the supplies that creates the ART! Your artistic expression shows no matter what you use to work with! I remember when you used your own blood! Sweet video Kasey, keep ‘em comin’ Save your energies for the Ant Illustrations!
They sell that exact set at Target (if you're in the U.S.). :) Pretty inexpensive and can withstand many uses (if my children's use of them is any indication).
I have been binge watching your channel this week and I'm so glad I found you! You are so talented and I have gotten so many ideas watching you. Keep up the good work. Love the Office Ladies, the raised paper Mermaid and redraw your childhood art.
I never had stamp markers but i did have those weird “pen erasers” it has multiple erasers in the tube and you can switch ‘em and it has a tiny stamp as a “hat/top”
One time in primary school one of my classmates had one of those erasers. I was so curious and one time during our break, when I was the only one in the classroom, I pushed one of the erasers so hard against the others that all of them fell out and spread across the floor. I didn't mean to mess it all up, I just didn't understand how the mechanism worked yet. Anyways, I panicked, just ran off and still feel bad about the poor guy having to pick up every piece again ._. Edit: Sorry for my bad english, it's not my first language
Something that I’ve always loved about Kasey’s videos is her attention to the smallest things that really bump up the quality of the video. For example, the text animating in at 0:12, it’s synced so that it appears exactly as the marker rolls away, instead of just fading in or out or some other preset transition. It takes more effort to sync it like this and only lasts for a few seconds, but it’s these little details that make her videos that much more enjoyable to watch. From the artwork to the editing to the small animations here and there, she clearly puts so much work into each and every video, which is something I’ll always appreciate.
Hahaha, that detail was completely unplanned until I was editing the footage! These are the moments I enjoy editing the most and am so glad you enjoy them as well!
I used to love using stamp pens, it’s amazing seeing them incorporated into art so well and using the pens as watercolour is really cool. Thankyou for inspiring me to look at art supplies in different ways.
going back and rewatching some of your older videos: am now 100% convinced that you are one of the most creative artists ive seen on youtube. your art is so fun and you always find some cool way to design or arrange your elements. really inspiring to watch
i bought mine as a kid at the dollar store once, i used them for like three days and then got tired of stamping question marks on my art lmaoo my mom was like “i told you not to buy them”
It's been so nostalgic to see the return of the stamp markers. I had scented ones with a fruit theme as a child. When I found them again, decades later, they had all dried up to a shade of brown and smelled vile. xD
damn, in 2009 i had food poisioning and have to go to the hospital. To cheer me up, my grandpa bought me a pack of markers with stamps, thats the only thing i play with in the hospital. This brings back a lot:)
Tbh I love watching Kasey when it’s late at night, it happens me calm down and get tired. I enjoy listening to her voice and even though a lot fo the videos are silly and fun she’s super relaxing and it’s fun to watch.
OMG! I had markers like these as a kid! I loved them! Never thought of creating something out of them! That's very creative. And the picture with foxes is so cute!! And I like stars on trees, looks great!
Just to see you make SO MUCH with so simple is always amazing to see. I never knew what to do with those markers aside from taking notes in school, but you turned them into a watercolor tool, that's so resourceful, and the colors were so vivid too, ugh, incredible!
When I was seven, I slurred my "R"s and "S"s and had to go to speech class. My speech teacher and I used these. I don't remember what for, I just remember hating it lol. Bish I've never had this many likes. Welp I want candy yolo.
The tiger on the top right of the circle illustration is my favorite. I love how it changes facial expressions several times, kinda looks like it’s animated. 💛
Ohhh, if you're doing childhood art supplies, you should look into maybe blow pens! Or, and bear with me I dont remember what it's called, but that machine where you have a circle paper, and it spins, and you squirt paint and it makes cool circle paintings :0

I do childcare with Kids on the Autism spectrum. Stamping no matter what the motive is fun for them, because it is an esay repetitive motion and I am always amazed, what different things they come up with. One kid used the stamps overlapping to create coloured surfaces. Almost like pointilism, but instead points, you have the stamp shapes.
These were so cute and such a fun idea! Your art is so playful and reminiscent of childhood it just fills my day with happiness. Thank you so much for sharing
I always forget that there are more ways to use art supplies. Now I have an idea on how to go about using the super vibrant daiso markers I got awhile ago lol. I love the vibrant colours and the whimsical feeling of the first piece but the story aspect of the third one is so charming! The second piece started off with a very calm vibe but the shadow horse (?) unicorn (?) creatures gave it a nice, classic Kasey Golden twist. Good job on all three of these pieces! I can't wait to see what childhood art supply you'll be using next!
Hello Kasey! I just wanted to tell you how much I look up to you! You are one of the reasons I continued with my art and kept on looking forward. Right now im going through a 'I hate my art' phase and it sucks, But you are literally my idol- Im so happy that I found your channel! Thank you for being such an awesome individual! I always drew my birds as the letter “V” instead lol :)

And the sun has to have heat lines to show it’s hOt
Is it weird I never used M birds and only V birds?
succ don’t forget the sunglasses too because for some reason every kid did that
Seriously though, super inspiring to see cheap art supplies like these used creatively to achieve really great results. I’m super inspired rn.
Aw, thank you, thank you! It’s honestly something I love about this “series”. Taking an ordinary supply and creating the unexpected from it!

I feel like these specific stamps are more so for bullet journaling and that’s why the images are so obscure and specific
This is the same set I had as a child 20 years ago. Bullet journalling was not really a thing. I think they're just kinda weird designs 🤷
It doesn't really matter, it's just art, you can use it in whatever way you want
It waz the 90’z baby and they were juzt meant to be cool! “S” back then weren’t a thing either. Zo...
