Just FYI the fusion mode on forward looking IR (FLIR) is still looking at IR. It is MSX multi-spectral dynamic imaging. It uses essentially 2 cameras, or 1 if it's a large enough band to collect visual and IR wavelengths. Then it overlays the visual image on the IR image (using an "algorithm") to create a sharper image. The big note here is, the visual overlay is specifically used only to increase sharpness of the imagery and not take away from the IR imagery. One thing I do not believe Tarkov has used is the ability to zero an IR sensors heat threshold. As IR sensors use a gradient that is relative to the ambient temperature. So real world if I am attempting to capture something, I need to zeroize the sensor to the ambient area, then it is only picking up imagery (temperatures) relative to that zeroization.
The reason why the zeroization is important is because depending on the time of day and materials you are looking at, heat could still be held in those materials. Asphalt/concrete are going to retain heat longer into the night than grass and natural organic objects.
you definitely had some sick shots back in the golden CoD days, didnt you, because those sweepshots were spicier than my diarrhea this morning and theres only one place that taught people like that :P

i can copy too from wiki 🤡
Very good explanation, thank you
@@uWu8rbwvq8she Isnt that what the shutter on a thermal is for? It seems to be implementet by a rolling shutter in trakov
Do you have to cycle through all the modes to go back to one zoom?
cool video man, thanks for showing the cultist loot too
The led x wasn’t the only way to unlock this thermal. There was a barter for 10 cultist knives
Need your postfx settings

Very cool hope they dont change the scope being able to see cultists
Does this still work?
Oh holy i will finish the big game quest and hunt the cultist using this zeus thermal scope for marked room key. Its amazing thermal scope.
Crosshair is now blurry.
what is the spawnchance of cultists fo you know?
5% rn, u can always look on wiki
thats what i thought but raider spawns were pretty broken until like 2-3 days ago when they suddenly started spawning in almost every raid@@wave9076
