However imo, for the sheer fight and the will to win given by the whole Ipswich team throughout the whole season, achieving promotion is totally justified and deserved. I remember for much of the noughties and tens driving around Ipswich's satellite towns and villages and seeing kids wearing Chelsea (etc) shirts and being so disheartened, we were losing whole generations of supporters from our heartlands...but it's changing.

Having spent two seasons in L1 (Derby) the Championship does seem a massive jump back 😂😂. L1 was good fun personally though, but can't stay in it forever clubs like ours.

Proper suited for you Ben, and all Ipswich fans. That is an amazing achievement, and for such a likeable club, team, manager and set of fans. With finances these days being what they are I'd say it has a shout at being second only to Leicester winning the PL as a story. Enjoy the hell out of it. When we (Leeds) went up in 2020 it was almost better than when we won the league. Congrats!

Great VLOG. Sums up my feelings totally. I was at Oxford in '92, and Wembley in 2000 and I never thought I would ever experience that again. All those years of awful teams, awful managers, terrible boring miserable football and empty stands with no hope. To be there yesterday and see the joy that this team has brought to so many people is something I'll never forget. I think we'll do ok next year, but if we don't then that's ok because it will never go back to the bad old days now. The futures bright.

Forest fan here, really pleased to see Ipswich back in the top division. I am old enough to remember the great days when we battled out many great games between us. The first Forest game my dad ever took me to see was against Ipswich; not saying it was a while ago but your centre forward was Ray Crawford!

Ben that was a lovely, heartfelt reaction to the season. The team has made it, incredibly. We are all so joyful and proud. Great opportunity for the town and county. I will be traveling over from Boston US next season to see the beloved blues play Liverpool and Arsenal and the like. It’s magic!

Enjoy the day! You are right, what's coming isn't fun. The premier league is a horrible place. But that's for another day. Having done the hard miles down in division 3 myself, to get to walk up wembley way with my 6 year old boy and watch Forest win was the greatest day of my life. Memories that can never be taken away. Whatever comes next, these are special moments that last a lifetime. Well done man, hopefully we get to welcome you to the City Ground next year.
