Best get this from the discount stores, that's too much for single model on one set of sprues. If you can't tell John Blanche's artwork from anyone else's, he's not doing his job right. 😛 ...It's blatantly by John Blanche. The same illustration is in the first Codex - Chaos. I still have mine from 1996!
I dont like most of the "other video" because they not just getting it early, but also for free. And they suppose to promote the product they r reviewing, without honest option. BTW i think they render the CAD file which means it has a light source and cast shadow on it?
exactly!!! you got it.. how does one an honest review if he gets the stuff for free..?? (i know one called sariel and he does technic lego reviews). but in the warhammer youtube community?? nothing but fanboys because they get it for free. they are like the ''always laughing to loud'' sidekicks from a radio or tv show... its why im subscribed to sups,leakycheese,outer circle,arch and i look at gamza,s channel often. im a sucker for critic/salty reviews, this abaddon is way too expensive for what it is. not for whom he is (as that is a different discussion) and that is something sups does quite well so far. there is a rule of cool and there is milking it, and geedubs does the last part more and more and more. and no fancy box art or rendered cad, or the fact that you will only be buying one , is going to change the fact that 50 euro,s for 1 sprue is ridiculous... geedubs was always as expensive but we got the fun of the hobby, taking a day out to enjoy the building and modding/converting the models, but even that is been taken away from us with monopose BS and the fact that you can build this in half an hour.. they are taking a piss, in pricing but also in hobby joy aspect..., ill get of my soapbox(for now) ;-)
I vote for Banebaddon, they've done a good job of making him seem like he's a exclusive model by adding all those extra bells and whistles but it doesn't justify the cost. He's 60 so the price of new video game, so that's actually not that bad.
Would anyone recommend this for someone who's new to the hobby and is currently collecting space wolves but also has Shadowspear? It's £30 in Element Games and they got 270 in stock and i'm going their Monday to pick up my Severina Raine and i'm very tempted to get one of these!
I'd say go for it as Wolves are pretty good and able negate unwieldy rule with chapter tactics, they seems to be viable in competitive side and not getting face smashed right away.
Depends on wether you want to build a entire chaos army Wich will run you 700,- easy. if you just want to collect minis and paint them regardless you can buy any mini you like
I just baught a adeptus titanicus battle group and a warlord with sunfury cannon and I finished my riptide battle suite then I see this awesome model and I cry

yeah they do this on all the kits now probably to give seller of extra chapter parts a hard time from a Player / Costumer standpoint its just bad just like the base size change GW seams to focus on diffrent customers now than 10 or 20 years ago. Some day minis will come preassembled
Hmm.... Frankly, if I did get an Abbadon, it would be allongside a se of Chaos Terminators, so I could make him into a non-specific Chaos Terminator Lord with the spare heads...
