You didn't preheat in the video. You put the pan in with the pie in it. That's not pre-heating. And, you should remove the pie from the dish, as that dish has a coating so it cooks exactly like the reheatza. Either put the pie directly on the reheatza, removing it from the pan. Or, put it in a paper bowl to support it as it cooks.
Pop that pizza into the oven at 350 for 10 minutes. Slower then the microwave but so much better.

Those little Banquet pies only take like 5 minutes on their own, I eat them all the time, beef, chicken, turkey. They are already in a crisper tray. They actually come really well on their own.
Wow, bought this, I have a 1200 watt microwave, and this thing simply does not work! Of course, after I buy it, then I start looking at reviews. Great review Vivian you were spot on. It makes things more difficult, after using it "as a plate" to set your food in the microwave, you gotta clean it, but don't dunk it! This IMHO isn't worth one star! I wouldn't find value in this if it only cost $2. Taking ours back to Wally World asap.

I noticed that the pie is not precooked.....the dow is raw. That makes a whole lot o difference. Glad you did this item, been wanting to get one since before Christmas....not buying anything before checking with you first. I’ve learnt my lesson. Good show 🤗

You're hilarious, I loved watching your video. Some tips though: It said something about being for a 1200W wave, not 1100W or lower, so for 1100W or lower you might need to pre-heat the pan more than the 2 minutes it said to preheat it (pan being the bottom part). Also, for things like marshmallows and probably other similar items or pancakes, pretty sure you're going to have to flip em a little past half-way through to get the browning on both sides. Then you can brown em without melting or burning them completely. The bottom half of this device seems to brown things well but the top part only seems to "protect" from the microwave and doesn't brown things nearly as well as the bottom does.
I'm sorry for that disaster you had to clean up, but I LMAO when you unveiled the marshmallows. Have a great day!

Well, just bought it for 10 dollars. Pretty good deal. Used it to warm up the pizza slices and it works great. Ya know, Vivian, the booklet does says to warm it up for 2 minutes before you put the food on it. You didn't do that. It needs to be like a hot skillet when you put the food on it. Then you cook for 2 minutes. Like I said, my pizza warmed up just right. Always read the direction first. Maybe twice or three times. Don't think anyone here read them either.

Thank you ! Just saw the commercial and wanted to research it and came across you ! I really wanted this to work ! :( Gonna watch the Air Fryer next... I got one already but not sure if it was a good one or not !
This thing actually works, it’s just not fast like a microwave, it takes some experimentation based on your microwave’s power. Play around with it a few days before calling it a bust. Pizza really takes like 2 min to preheat and maybe 5 to cook and turns out well. Figure maybe 1/2-2/3 of the time of a toaster oven for similar results depending on the food. Unlike a toaster oven though it doesn’t dry the pizza out as it crisps. If you go in willing to experiment it’s quite a cool product and yields good results.

The other reviewers of this pan also had to add extra time but they did have decent results after extended cook time. I agree with you, that if it doesn't work right out of the gate, it's a fail. I should never need more than 20 seconds to heat a marshmallow! Thats just crazy!
