Bruce Pollock Painter

From May 18, 2013 through September 29, 2013, the James A. Michener Art Museum in Doylestown has an exhibition featuring 11 artists. It is called "Creative Hand, Discerning Heart: Form, Rhythm, Song" and this film profiles the painter Bruce Pollock.
Bruce Pollock's work is a delicate balance of geometry and painterliness. Though not a mathematician, his work relates to fractals and cosmology. At its heart lays a deep spirituality, related in some respects to the practices of Zen Buddhism.
He has a restless nature and his provocatively complex and beautiful work has undergone many stylistic changes over the years.
