Agree. People who were voting based on abortion rights wasted their vote. They were voting in a national campaign on a states issue. For 50 years the Congress had an opportunity to codify Roe vs Wade and didn’t. The states have created their laws, if someone doesn’t like it start a petition and work to get a referendum to change. The US Congress won’t touch abortion rights as it is polarizing.

It’s almost like they’re saying, ‘Don’t miss out on your favorite product!’ as if these candidates were just different brands of milk, priced close to make us feel we’re getting a fair choice. But maybe they’re not even close at all. They’re more like meat and vegetables on the same shelf, with prices that don’t add up. And here we are, just 20 cents shy of getting our 'favorite snack,' scrambling to gather enough 'change' to feel like we’re part of the big show. Then again, maybe the real product they’re selling isn’t even the candidates but the system itself. It’s set up so we keep pouring in energy, cash, and time-thinking we’re on the verge of ‘winning’ something important. They get us pumped for the next election like it’s a close game, making sure we feel the stakes. But just like with all good theater, maybe the actors already know how it ends. Behind the scenes, they're probably all hanging out in the green room, laughing about the polls like they're bad jokes we can’t stop taking seriously. Makes you wonder if it’s really about choice at all or just a show to keep us coming back for more.
