Wow! It is definitely very green and wet up there! Stay safe, Leon. Keep us updated on how you are going with the potential flooding.

Yes pretty green and very sloshy under foot. But under that weedy mess there is lots of life and breaking down organic matter. Thank you 😊

It’s amazing how fast it can get away from you. Mine is nearly under control again. Rain has stopped and lots of hot 🥵 days now. Thanks for your comment and merry Christmas.

Very accurate… I’m in Somerset region, normal size block but full on swamp currently. Out there with the whippersnipper for an hour each morning before it rains to try and atleast not let it get too much worse, though my neighbours pristine yards do make me feel guilty haha

We have definitely started the wet season a little early this year. Hopefully we can get some nice weather to let every thing dry out a bit. Thank you 😊

That'd be typical in Queensland during this time of the year. In my area of Wonthaggi Gippsland it rains 8 months of the year and then during december till march nothing but a few drops, just enough to make it feel sticky and humid then there's the annoying flies and mozzies.

Yes definitely. It’s the wet season here in subtropical Queensland Australia. I know your area well. I grew up in south gippsland on a dairy farm at stony creek. And been in Queensland for about 30 years. Thanks for your comment and have a fantastic new year’s. 😊
