Hey 👋🏾 here’s a tip. If you don’t want to be “that Freshman “ on the first day of school make your schedule you Home Screen. As you walk through the halls it’ll just look like you’re on your phone when really you’re panicking looking for classes but the only person who will know you’re panicking is you. Nobody told me this little secret until my second day of high school so on the first day I looked like a lost puppy! But you’ll do great don’t be intimidated and do what you need to do and the school year should be a little easier for you!! Have a good school year!!!

I went to my highschools open house yesterday and I coincidentally saw my 5th grade teacher and his daughter there. It was so funny it was practically the highlight of my day loll

I feel you. It doesn’t feel real that we are high schoolers, it’s almost like a hallucination. But i had open house Thursday and I got good teachers and stuff, saw friends, yk. Good thing I have 5 older siblings to guide me through this and give me an advantage, I feel sorry for the freshman who are completely clueless. Also I start Tuesday and I’m not ready

In my school for my freshman year what they did was the first day of school was Monday but only the freshman went in first and the second day everyone came to school. It was basically so the freshman’s could get used to and know where their classes are without a bunch of sophomores and juniors and seniors going around them. My school has over 2000 people so it was pretty nice. But you got this girl! It’s not as bad as everyone says but just make sure to be prepared.

I learned where my classes are after the first week. I know it’s different for everyone but sooner or later you’ll be walking to your classes without thinking. Don’t get overwhelmed cuz then you’ll panic🤣 I just asked teachers and deans in the halways

You Think You're School Is Big. If You Ever Went To Connecticut NFA Is Big. We Didn't Have A Open House When I Was A Freshman. But We Went A Day Earlier Then The Upper Classmates. To Be Able To Find Our Way Around. That Was Helpful. I'm Out Of School Now. I Graduated In Two Thousand Five.

Heres some tips from a sophomore :)
Don't vape or do drugs. It's not healthy, and you'll most likely get caught by teachers or someone will tell on you or something and you'll get in trouble and it's just not worth it.
PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS! In most classes I just was on my phone and didn't really listen. Very big mistake :)
I don't reccomend using your locker. (At my school at least) Nobody uses their locker. I'm able to fit everything I need in my backpack and it's easier to do that than trying to rush to your locker between classes cause, (at my school) we dont have much time to switch classes and its especially more difficult as a freshman to get to your locker and everything all while you need to find your next class. I didn't use my locker at all last year, however, this year I had the idea to keep snacks and drinks in it for me and my friends. So yea :)
Also I regretted not doing this, but take electives u really want to take, and join clubs or sports or whatever your into. I'm gonna be in theater this year and I'm SUPER excited about it.
