I don't think so u can use it while baking it won't melt but will harden cause the biscuits have baking powder and soda

These are not made from chocolate. It does have chocolate but that's only 30% of amount, these chocochips are 70% biscuit flour so they will dry.
If it was 100% chocolate, it was to be kept in fridge and not in sun or it will melt
