I had a 80’s Audi 4000 diesel, it was one of the world’s slowest cars. The car was built solid and felt solid. Aside from being slower than a sleeping turtle, it was one of my favorite cars. This car is a space ship in comparison.

I've always loved audi lights from the Matrix headlights.. they changed the game with the LED lights IMO
They are nice but a pain sometimes. MB are better and brighter imo.

Starting from the rearview mirrors, its unbelievable to find parts of my 2019 B8 Passat in a 200k€ car from 2024.

@@greeneyedwarlock882 Multiple BMWs, including a Merc and a VW Touareg over the years. Same ish. Nearly all German luxury vehicles out of warranty end up as money pits. They're good for a first lease and then that's about it. Everyone knows this. They are built for performance and luxury, not reliability --- *especially* given the design of the engines they shove into these things.
Don't take my word for it, though. Ask around.
Then again, the market segment to which cars like this are aimed, doesn't really care about long-term ownership. They drive it for three, then set it free. This doesn't change the general truth of my statement, though.
The stereotype doesn't exist by accident.

I had an Audi A5, at 30,000 miles, the engine failed and had to be rebuilt, fortunately Warranty took care of it. I test drove an A6 a couple of years ago and 20 minutes out of the dealers, It died on me.
I didn’t see a spare tire.

Ein sehr schönes Fahrzeug ,aber nicht wie immer ! Die Carbon Sachen im Inneren vermisse ich auch im äusseren . Alles feinstes Plastik ! Und aufgrund der ganzen Sparmaßnahmen,diese ganzen Touch Bildschirme ,kosten doch ein Bruchteil von dem was ein Manueller Tacho, Drehzahlmesser und Klimabedienteil kostest . Die ganze von Audi hochgelobte neue Innovation ,ist die größte Sparmassnahme in der Geschichte der Autoindustrie 💥 Und ich möchte nicht wissen,was das so wie er da steht wieder kostet . Also ich denke Mal so 160 -200k. Was noch löblich zu erwähnen ist ,das tatsächlich ein V8 verbaut wurde . Nicht so wie im C63 S ein 4 Zylinder 😂😂😂😂😂. Also ,meiner Meinung nach Brauch die Autoindustrie auch Mal einen Denkzettel wie die Politik 💥💥💥

My 2019 MK7.5 Golf R gauge cluster is much more nicer and useful!!!!! The driver's side door panel is just not practical, no room for my thermos which I have on my Golf! Inside door opener is upside down? I need to twist my arm to put my finger under the handle? The car is nice but has a lot of cheap ideas. V8 is great love it!! Breaks, Gosh what happened to the brakes? Disks are so small, my son Audi 4s has much better looking breaks and my Golf too. I would by this Audi but no, I won't swap yet! I love the 2019 dash and design with buttons and practical usefulness!
I’ll wait 10 years and pick one up for 10 grand.

🇺🇸🇬🇧...apart from a few useful developments (e.g. LED, safety systems, infotainment), I like the old models (C4-6) much better! I am absolutely not a fan of these "tablet landscapes" and clearly prefer analogue instruments!
🇩🇪...bis auf wenige sinnvolle Weiterentwicklungen(zB. LED, Sicherheitssysteme, Infotainment), gefallen mir die alten Modelle(C4-6)wesentlich besser! Ich bin absolut kein Freund dieser "Tablet-Landschaften" und bevorzuge ganz klar analoge Instrumente!

This thing is so uninspired, plain, boring, and filled with unnecessary bling for the sake of it. Give me any Porsche any day of the week. Yes yes, same parent company blah blah, but the design philosophy, fit and finish etc are just planets apart!

about as interesting as watching paint dry and I love cars. Some newer tech, some older gadgets like vents appearing. In basis everything has already been worked out in the late nineties. electric seats with heating cooling and massage, maybe add a little buzz for lane departure warning. memory seats, panoramic roof, carbon accents (whatever), add a touch of ambient lighting (now with a quazillion colours) etc etc. it's not impressive anymore. Even the top tier gadgets will be readily available in the 4 or 6 and probably every chinese brand as standard. better 1 million horsepower engine that does 0-60 in 3 seconds,.
It's a great car, truly is, magnificient. But...isn't just about any 50,000 + car basically very brilliant?? What does this car have to make it worth so much more? Actually, I think this interior kind of sucks with all it's cheap plastics and fetish like need for overcomplicated touch areas. I'd sooner compare it to an Acer laptop than an apple or surface. This car seems to exist only for boardroom members to still have a little cock measuring contest. Lend me one, see if I change my mind.
