Watching my first vid of yours...saw you on live with DEBO and recognized your mug....coffee scent is the KVD Strike King line. He used to soak his baits in old coffee grinds. Thanks for the awesome bait breakdown!!! That grub looks sick! The silver is nice!!!
Just looking forward to the vids. I'm looking at trying some smaller glidebaits, swimbaits etc. This summer. Picked up a couple in the 4-6" size (googan,savage gear,Mike Bucca). I know they're not in your wheelhouse with fishing at the ponds.

I really like the monthly new gear unboxing idea. Those grubs look killer. I really like the Gary Yamamoto single tail grub in 4 or 5 inch and they come in any color imaginable. But I think I’ll have to give these a try.
Hope you take those opened baits straight to the boat especially with Big Mike around. Have to stop and check those grubs out! Hope ponds are still feeshable! There’s some big girls in there!
Great video TJ! I just picked up a few of the EVOS. I've always been a big fan of the trick worms. I've never tried that ice though. It looked pretty sweet. Really looking for a review on the Evo chatterbait! I love the jackhammer. But I'm due for some replacement and wire love to not waste money if I don't have to.
I picked up the evo bluegill and I forget what they call it now but it’s the bhite delight color but I wanna get some of those strike king Carolina chrome and those grubs do look sweet
For bigger grubs I use the Berkley Power Grubs or Strike King Rage Grubs. Might have to check out the Keitechs. It'll save me from having to go all the way to the musky sized grubs. 😂
Yeah that's a problem with grubs these days. They aren't as popular as before and most plastics brands pare down the color selections to like 8 or 10 colors. Kalin's used to make so many great colors. I was a big fan of the tinsel grubs. They still make holograms which i like but only certain colors and sizes. Maybe there's a shop in Cali that carries some special run colors like some of the shops in the south that carry every Zoom color under the sun, but I wouldn't know.
I'm a Strike King/Yum baits kinda guy, I do try other brands and have lots in my bins, however when it comes to my go to, I'd stay mainly with SK and Yum. What's your goto brand? I know I asked before but what are your thoughts about these Yum swimbaits that have come out lately like the pulse and the other types. does solid body get more attention than say a hollow swimbait? just curious thanks for the awesome vids and Live shows !
I'm with ya on SK and YUM, YUM was one of the first soft plastics I ever used and obviously with the background of my video I still use and love them! I'm a big fan of Berkley as well, but to be honest I like a lot of different brands! I don't fish many hollow body swimbaits, so it's hard for me to compare them, but I believe a hollow body would have a bit more action.
