"that bridge is quite narrow" 2:34 it was indeed... quite narrow thanks for the vid ands recap as always! lovin to see this and hepe someday it will start in italy too!
It blows my mind to see how well those races are organized. I hope to find something nearby where I leave, it would be great to join the race now that I finished my first rally car, a Carten T410 Rally. I even modded my Traxxas 4-tec and converted to a rally setup. It's good fun to bash it around now that it rides higher and has softer suspension. Good luck with your next race!
Yes! When I started 3 years ago, I had the same feeling of amazement! Here in Poland and Czech Republic Rc Rally it's a serious thing with a lot of partecipans and amazing organisation. Congratulations for your first Rally car, that chassis seems quite interesting, I hope it has enough steering angle.
Seeing the difference between you and Tomas driving is very interesting! He drives very flowingy with more steady speed. You on the other hand drive more with a "binary finger" :), very aggressive with the throotle, giving powerful pushes, followed by hard braking when entering a curve. My impression is that that constant weight shifting strongly limits your precision. The hard braking gives you understeer when entering the curve and with less of that, maybe you could have more weight on the rear axle and therefore a better chance of some oversteer in the curve as we can see it when Tomas drives in a curve. People say, when driving a FWD (only front driven) car, throttle pumping is completely useless and a very flowing driving style is needed - perhaps with a front heavy chassis like the XV-01, that is true too... I realize that is an older video and you are using a different car now, but maybe it is still woth a thought. :) Definitely was eye-opening to me. Thank you for your videos!
Thank you for commenting and sharing your thoughts! I really like to read different point of views. In general I have a quite aggressive driving style as you noticed, but I'm trying to change it a bit in order to be more effective and clean. The new chassis with a centered engine position is helping in that :)
The track was very long an elaborate. It must have taken a lot of work to plan it and set it up. I was surprised in the first stage another driver walked across the track as you were finishing. That can be distracting and shows poor sportsmanship. Thomas car seem to have a great setup and he had great control. Your understeer was the big factor for you as you said. I wonder if lighter weight shock oil ir softer springs in the front would've helped.Although races like this one are very frustrating, but very instructive. U think you will do better next time. On tarmac are you allowed to use traction compound?
Yeah being not able to keep up with the top 5 was a bit frustrating. On one part of the track there was an intersection, bad luck that me and the other guy met, or it was someone fixing the course, don't know honestly. Anyways I was slow that day 🤣 About the setup, XV-01 has a tendency of underseering, I'll try to figure it out how to solve it, traction compound could be helpful 👍

Ciao, ti ringrazio!
Man that looks like fun and a bit dizzy... hats off to the man with the chalk .
Yeah a lot of turns and obstacles 🌪️
yeaa im dizzy watching the many of turns.... hahhhhh😮💨🤥😴🤧
Fascinating. That’s the most demanding course I’ve ever seen ! Some great drivers
Thank you for shouting out the track makers ⚖️👌🏾💯

Grande Dario continua cosi
Nice driving!!!!! Good luck.
Thanks 👍
awesome tracks/courses - super cool video
Thanks!
Heh, could probably use drift car steering setup for these kinds of tracks, get those low speed tight corners sorted.
Nice. Thanks. Gday from Israel
Thanks a lot, stay safe 👍

@@dariorcgarage let's say it's good to know how to get the back end loose in turns 😉, but it drives like a race car, it's precise.
@@chiccorocker 🤣🤣
very technical tarmac course, challenging to stay in lane. i thought you did well, Dario. Good luck on your next race😉
Yeah the corse was very technical! Thank you, I always want to improve.
Just need to finish the season in Krakow and I'll focus on 2024 season
I been going through your videos. Man i don't know how you do it. I get dizzy and Lost. You must have Lightning speed reflexes....

What would you say is the easiest way to turn a large field into a practice track? Chalk on pavement seams so easy to draw out and clean up
@@db345t yes, that's a good idea. I made a video about it time ago
