There’s nothing I enjoy more than seeing somebody who knows how to take care of their stuff. Whether it’s their boots, their bike, their car, their chisels, their front lawn even. Taking the time and effort to look after something properly says a lot about the kind of person you are. Well done!
I know! it pains me to see people get something, use it a couple times, and when a bit of it breaks they trash it. I’ve had my bike for a good long while, ridden almost 20,000 miles on it, and replaced almost every part on it except the frame, but it is still good as new, and until the body totally breaks, I’m gonna keep on using it to the fullest
An old german soilder once told me "Always be sure to polish the backs of your shoes because thats the last thing people see of you as your walking away" Old Hugo Hopfliecsh might have been on the wrong side in 43, but he was sharp as a tack.

Really just stumbled upon your video and paused my movie and watched 23 minutes of totally satisfying shoe cleaning..... New subscriber! This was so calming... Thank you ❤️
Awesome job I would pay good money to have my boots taken care of. I’ve had them for ten years they’ve been resole like six times also they’ve been re-corked but I don’t think they’ve ever been stripped of their years of mink oil. Great job👍🏼
Roy Garcia you should really get that oil worked out and start using wax imo. Oil does a good job temporarily, but since oil attracts dirt is causes you to have to do it over and over. Just my two cents
It’s hard to find a place now days. Best place to get your boots looking like new is Mexico. I would take a trip once a month to Acuna to get my boots looking like new💪🏼
Before and after photos the boots had more of a sheen before you started. You did a good job on the areas that bend, those were pretty grungy before you started.
Wafflez-Man- because the one boot was dirtier than the other! You pay close attention, but sadly you don't know what you're doing and you miss the fine details, like a dirtier boot. Go back to school kid.
Goodbye Mr. Anderson I understand everything except the “go back to school kid” first off, didn’t age well. Secondly, what context clues did you use to find out this dude was a dropout?
My god you poured your soul into those boots… and I always wondered why those I work with bought new every year. All I’ve done is condition and clean my two pairs. I wonder how long they would last if I treated them this way!
I work in nasty conditions. I get 2 years out of a pair of boots tops. Chemical plants Railroads hot side of steel Mills. Soles get poke holes in them then they leak. I run intermodal dumps and hazmat tanks.
the boots themselves are expensive as heck man. i have a pair of ariats and theyre 130$+, i have no idea of the cost but as someone replied he said abt 3$ usd.
I have probably watched every one of your videos five to ten times each. this has been one of my favorite ones because you made ariat boots look like a high-end boot. I am from Texas and that says a lot. Where are you locateddue to the fact that I've got to get a shoeshine from you. Do you accept shipments to be shined and redelivery. I will pay both postage fees and your fee to shine up my ariats and my Argentinian lizard boots.
I thought about opening up my own shoe shine business. I have a few guys at work that are amazed by the shine I put on my boots and want me to work on theirs. I just don't know what I should charge. Any suggestions would be helpful.
I suggest thinking about the price of the products you use to shine those boots and the price of the time it takes you to shine those boots and calculate how much you should charge them for that service. Thanks for watching!
@@AngeloShoeShine I basically use either Lincoln or Angelus polishes. Not exactly the most expensive out there, but, definitely the ones I get the best shine from. I've even tried saphir, to me it was a waste of money. I can take a new pair of boots right from the box and get a mirror shine that you could use to shave with in about an hour. Not to brag or anything like that...lol
Nice work dude , I enjoyed watching you video but I would like to know if you can provide me with the name of the product that are you using, I will appreciate bro!! Thank you 😊
I guess I'm the only one that will say that I like my boots worn and dirty. Though I only spend $225.00 a year on boots and I wear them every single day, I prefer mine looking beat up and used. Nice work though!
FEATHERED COYOTE thing is a good pair well cleaned and prepared like this will last years. Mine have been knee deep in cow shit more times then I can count with a pair that’s 5 years old. By no means do they look new but I do like to keep them around. Something about the feel of a good broke in boot

what was that solvent cleaner you used? I really need to strip the wax/polish buildup off of some of my boots.
What cream did you use in step 3?
No!
@@semajniffirg230 I have the same question!
Legs and boots are exceptionals

Does anyone remember when barber shops had shoe shine stations in the corner of the shop? Ah, memories....
I also remember when they gave the back of your neck a hot shave and Penthouse magazines laying around.
There was a shoe shiner in a barber shop in Houston. Haven't been since covid. He looked like he was 90 and still working.
Southeast Texas still has an old union shop with the guy shining shoes.
I still remember when every barbershop had a hitching post outside. This was 18 aught 80, thereabouts. I'm going on about 155 years old.
I'm actually tryna bring that back at my shop in Detroit.
It’s 5 in the morning and I’m watching some dude get his boots cleaned
I like ur name my name on epic use to be L O A F
Just wait until you find the videos of making boots. FML

It's 5:02
Lol same here
My son fell asleep :) I dont blame him. Great work my friend, world needs more father like you are :)
😊 thank you
Hard to find a professional shoe shine stand in my city anymore. It's one of those lost pleasures to sit down and have shoes properly shined.
I agree! It's getting much more scarce nowadays!
Right up there with a proper straight edge barbershop shave
I love getting my boots cleaned up when I go to Jerez, Zacatecas México… this art is still practiced a lot over there
This is nostalgic. I used to clean and shine my father's military boots and flat shoes.
I’ll be uploading a new ariat boots video tomorrow hope you like it,
Thanks

Very satisfying to watch, learn, or relearn a technique
I’m 38 years old and have always been fascinated with shoe shines. I had a friend that use to do it when we were 10 11 years old. Wish I learned
Glad to see this lost art making a slight turn around everyone support them and lets make getting your boot and shoes shined up a norm again.
I’m going to clean mine now. That was great.

I just discovered a new branch of ASMR. This is awesome
When I seen the t-shirt wrap on your hand I thought I was about to see the baby diaper come out!!! Looks good, great job.
Awesome content. Guess it was so satisfying the son fell asleep to it.
I have never seen someone who shines shoes in person you are doing a fantastic job ❤️❤️🇦🇺
Wow ! This is a great shine ! Perfect !
After watching this video, I'm thinking of getting a pair of boots...😁
I have these style of boots but with out shine, like suede, do you have a video on how to clean with out a shine or polish?
suede cleaner and suede brush, angelus and saphir both make a good one
I see the channel is growing good work been here before you clean them dirt bike boots.
Thank You!!
Ur gonna blow up man great simple content
Yep, it's in the recommendations now
I think I would’ve added some brown wax to them. The acetone lightened them up too much. Nice boot. A little more color
Before and after photos the boots had more of a sheen before you started. You did a good job on the areas that bend, those were pretty grungy before you started.
Am I the only one who pays attention to like how they use more product and care on one boot then the other? I mean it’s a good job though.
I noticed that the right boot was better cared for than the left one, but the outcome was the same at the end
Ricardo Arguelles yeah that’s what I’m saying , idk I just notice small things like that

What solvent cleaner did you use?
As a kid i would watch them shine boots at a truck stop outside OK. city what an art. What does it cost now to get your boots shined
So does this cost as much as a haircut? Or more like the price of a salon?
Had this done to mine when I was in Mexico and it cost me about 50 P. About $3 in USD
the boots themselves are expensive as heck

thanks!
This reminds me I need to polish mine
Nice boots
Wonderful result but what is it that puts some of us into a relaxed state.
Autonomous sensory meridian response
Prob a form of hypnotism
Saddle soap and Neatsfoot oil does it all !
Really??? Made mine difficult to polish whit my boot cream
Where can I get my Ariats shined like this? I’m in SoCal
Great quality shine.

What is that Kiwi wax thing you used for the sole of the boots what is the actual name?
